Subject: What movie am I thinking of?

Trying to remember a trailer I saw and said 'I'll have to check that out' and promptly forgot all about.
Chinese (I think)
In a similar vein to Hero and so on, set in ancient China, armies, fighting, fluttering banners.
An interesting looking (villain?) female with black and white warpaint and half shaven head.
And that's about all I can remember.
