Plenty of ADL's, HWT and LR to hold the line, with massive blobs of guard to mass lasgun death into anything. 1000pts of pure shooting.

throw in an adl and have fun

ZI would and DO use 40 man blobs, 4 lascannons, 4 Power axes. Priest and a level 2 Psyker per unit. these units are very hard.

Id honestly go with Infatnry squads with auto cannons and Tauroxs

You've got 68 T3 wounds with plenty heavy weapons and a little armor, all behind an ADL. Not sure if the Executioner is the best choice here, but AP2 blasts are never a bad thing.

Possibly less killing power, but it's going to be hard to kill 155 (mostly fearless) guardsmen at 1000pts... Went for mixed weapons in blobs as any guard foot army is going to be outmanouevred
