Burst 1. And yes, I forgot to mention Anti-materiel trait. There are no other bows, by the way.

A note on the Anti-material trait - it's functionally identical to the N2 rules in terms of only DA, EXP and K1 ammo being able to damage structures, it's just that the trait makes it easy to see.

So we are going to be able to John Rambo some straw huts?

Rambo was my immediate thought when I saw the Hardcase profile. I hope they don't go with that look though. I'd rather see something a bit more tactical looking, like a Vietnam LRRP trooper or something.

I'd guess more of a Daryl from Walking Dead if they were going to try to make a current pop culture reference for people with (cross) bows.

They've never really done the ridiculously overt references though so I'm not worried about an Infinity Sly Marbo.

A Rambo model done well and not a ham job like sly marbo would be awesome IMO. It's such an iconic image, when you think of a Veteran holding a compound bow with demo tips you instinctively think of Rambo for a reason.... IT'S AWESOME!

I remember hearing once that when debating how to portray the USAriadnans, CB strictly wanted to avoid the cliche cowboy stereotype. With how the US Grunts come base with flamethrowers and even the cheapest Minuteman has a flamethrower, I'm assuming the Americans are going to be Vietnam-era themed. What better iconic character to put in there aside from Rambo?

As for interesting new units, the Mercenaries have a unit called a "Wardriver" which is a WIP 13 AVA 1 hacker. Recruitable by Ariadna only.

One other springs to mind

You could, but it's likely to take an awful lot of Orders...

I take it you can't stick Anti-material arrows to other models can you? That would be too good.

As for UsAriadna and Viet-theme, I think its actualy rly good choice, way better than waving flag in your face as no Infinity faction is crystal clear.

Every Nomad kid want to be a Tomcat when they grow up.

The N3 arrival is a big change in the universe of Infinity, and this also implies a renewal of our website. ¡Welcome to the new Infinity website!

www.infinitythegame.com

In addition, with the release of the new web, and simultaneously with the release of the N3 book, the PDF N3 rules is available to download FREE. You can find it on the Archives section.

Hope you'll enjoy!

Well I can tell the site is getting crushed at the moment for the n3 download as it keeps timing out nonstop

Bear in mind, from what I was able to see this is the new N3 Rulebook not the PDF update for Human Sphere/Paradiso.

Didn't they post a week or two ago that the rules would be coming out 3 months after the physical book or even later at their discretion? Was that in reference to some other ruleset version or did they change their mind?

Seems people who preordered it may legitimately get it weeks after the free version at this point. Maybe cb felt it was better this way than having people cancel tournaments etc in Janurary.

If only people would stop hammering the site so we can look at the new pretty :(

Unless I missed something, that rules PDF is not enough to prevent cancelling tournaments. The other PDF, the one that update the Human Sphere and Paradiso profiles, is more important, from a tournaments point-of-view, than the rules PDF.
The book is already out there. The update PDF was not, last time I checked.

Not that I'm complaining about having the rules PDF!

I got a 404 error for the site itself, but the download works Thanks you much for the direct link

Something to read until my copy arrives from Miniature Market. Hope I can retain the Info. Apparently, some think paper books are better for that http://mic.com/articles/99408/science-has-great-news-for-people-who-read-actual-books

However, the big stink over the week-end, from what I saw, was about the updated army lists. Human Sphere and Paradiso units are still in Limbo. Fortunately, there are plenty of units in N3, and new ones, for us to take a test drive. Going to be fun

Its very crisp and clean. I love how they show actions and the requirements to even do the action in a box before showing what the action can do. Over all im very impressed.

My only gripe is it is missing a ton of unit profiles, making most of my armies unplayable at the moment. but I will be spending a lot of time reading so I can wait

It's weird, I've got a browser pane open to the downloads page from a few hours ago, that works fine. But the main web page dies. Weird site failure mode...
