That Igao has a rather elongated head. I'm not sure if the front part of the mask just has a lot of Tohaa-Tech, or if he just let his Asparagus-hair grow out.

It might be artificial stuff as well, given that the other Tohaa units with full helms have horns and other items intended to act as representations of animals from the Tohaa homeworld.

Seriously, I can't start a 5th Infinity army just for the looks of one model, can I?

Alguaciles box is meh, but as someone over on the official forum said...it could never live up to the wait.

The Igao is fantastic.

The female Alguaciles seem to be suffering from 'too long neck' syndrome - much like Cordelia?

I think Igao sold me on the Tohaa faction, nifty miniature. I envy Nomads, they got the light grenade launcher in their SWC box.

Loving those Alguacils. More Nomads I don't need, but must buy. Notice no hacker. Good thing I have the Corregidor box already.

As for the Tohaa guy: Glad to see a model not standing upright one arming a giant cannon & ragefisting in the left hand ;-)

Is that a natural 21?

Honestly, the only people expecting a Hacker?

They were only able to justify it as "Well that's what the other special weapons boxes have!"...which really isn't too relevant when it comes to CB.

Is that Igao female? It looks like it might be. Cool design, though that head is massive.

Pretty sure. Someone pointed out on a FB post that females have the leaf looking protrusions, while males have the spikes.
Oh, and that Igao is a Tohaa Camo skirmisher with most likely infiltration, MA3, and grenades of some sort.

Yeah I think that's a breast showing on the side view. It's not massive and cheesecakey, nor did Angel paint a nipple on this one... but I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Could be some kind of oddly shaped pouch but I think the safe bet is with female Igao.

Does seem to be sitting a bit low though.. so if it ends up being something else...

That used to be the case, but then the Rasail Boarding Team came along. Then again, the Tohaa are pretty good at that genetic engineering thing.

That Igao!!!

EDIT: Now that I've composed myself, I have to say that all of these look fantastic. Not seeing a problem with the alguacils, honestly. They match well with the starter set ones: nicely detailed, (mostly) sensibly posed, and punky without being cartoony.

So that's the real reason for ragefists to expose the chest. How else are we going to tell if it's female if we can't see the boobs?

That's a female Tohaa, she's got combat high heels and hips.

Zuleyka... help me out folks, maybe I've been doing it wrong all this time... human abdomens don't actually form creases when they twist, do they? At least mine doesn't. Perhaps it's defective?

Her sister Samira though is awesome.

The poses on the Alguaciles LGL and HMG look oddly stiff, like bad CGI from an early 2000s video game. But I'm willing to forgive them because OMG the faces!

Teucer is everything a smug punchable Aleph prettyboy sniper should be.

Igao is a demonstration of the power of a well-sculpted body in motion. I have no idea what any constituent part of the model is and if (she?) was standing still she'd be a complete mess. Too many tiny details going in too many different directions, too few solid shapes to let the eye figure out what the hell it's looking at. But because it so well captures the muscles-coil-moment-in-movement it portrays, I'm kinda thinking about how to start Tohaa. And I've never liked Tohaa.

The detail looks painted on to me. And even if it's not, it's not exactly hard to fill those lines in.

That looks more natural than how Angel painted it. His lines are very exaggerated. A softer tone shift would make it look a lot better

On the Igao - holy gak.

Yeah, the Alguacuils are unexciting. I don't like the Aleph chap either, he looks like a he is modelling his shirt rather than shooting his gun.

Now, that's how you convey the impression of movement in a miniature!

Not leaning at a stupid angle off a piece of ruined terrain.

I, for one, like the aguaciles set. Very tempted to get a box and print up some holos on acetate, turn the LGL one into a hacker.

There's a Hacker in the Corregidor boxed set.

Or you can do the easier thing and simply field any of the rifle Alguaciles from the plain old Nomad starter set as a Hacker.

Good to see they're not afraid to do it still. Some of my favourite Infinity models are dynamic action poses - Clipsos combi rifle running around a rock, Asawira AP rifle leaping to the side and firing, Tarik mantank preparing to leap forward, etc. Standing in place in a 'this is my gun, this is my sword/ragefist' pose has its place, but it's not where Infinity models shine.

No interest in tohaa at al........WOW that igao is sweet.

Can't see it being enough to get me started on a army but it's really cool

Yup, I don't collect Tohaa (and they are quite far down on my list of factions to start) but I am certainly going to be getting that miniature.

Zuleyka's abdomen does look off, less so in the digital image but still not quite right. A touch of filler will take care of it, I think. Tempting to give her a tank top, similar to Zamira's.

Alguaciles look nice, if you are going to field a link of them. They suffer from the same problem as the Ghulam SWC it seems. Just nice, and not much more.

Igao. ¡Guau! The ambulatory artichokes have been getting some outstanding minis. Must remember pledge not to start new faction until at least one already owned faction is painted...

Iago is definitely female here. In the last photo Pacific posted you can see a combat stilleto heel for her boot if you're able to zoom in that much. That is, unless CB has started putting males ib combat stilleto heels as well...
