There was no picture associated with it. Just a comment that he made that it was coming, after someone talked about their conversion.

HMG Intruders pleases me. Can't wait for that one. Now I won't have to convert one.

Why does Scylla have glasses? She's a robot (or at least an engineered being). I would think Aleph wouldn't want to have a defect like that on its super soldiers.

Oh, and Zhanshis and Keisotsu could both be improved with the addition of helmets or hats.

Maybe she's got MSV2?

Right now, the common theory is that the designers were watching certain films where "sexy librarians" were a thing.

Scylla is supposed to be a named Dactyl character, so we'll have to see if the glasses are supposed to distinguish her as being more of a "techy" character than a "punch you in the face" character.

I thought it was pretty obvious that it was a designer choice and that the designer in question thought it was HAWT, so to speak!

It will be interesting to see IF they attempt to pull off that look in metal - or if she ends up with something that looks more like a visor/goggles, or without them entirely.

Scylla looks good to me...

as you say Alph, it will be interesting to see how CB do the actual sculpt with glasses...
i have no clue how i would paint them to look clear at this scale...

Plenty of engineers (and other soldiers) in the real-world military wear glasses. This is just more stylized and fits the "smart" stereotype just fine. Remember that Aleph is a propaganda machine as well, and making people look good is one of its talents.

My only complaint is that it looks very similar to the glasses Nazarova in many ways.

It's the character version of the Dactyl. We've known it was coming for a long time now in order to form an Enomatarchos Link Team. Plus, pretty much every Steel Phalanx unit has had at least one character. It's really not that much of a surprise.

It's not a surprise but I do wish they'd start doing Vedic stuff. I like ASS but I'm getting sick of every Aleph release being for them.

Ehhh, Scylla is not the enomotarchos dactyl, that's Acmon, Scylla is a board control troop that will come in a box along with a guy called Drakios and two devabots.

This year is the year of "Acheron Falls", and Vedic have apparently been axed from the book.

I had only heard that it might be postponed till after AF, but didn't know there was actual confirmation for it.

EDIT: also, SniperLogo, I know you all hate it but it looks kinda cool, my bet is on blue wolf because Neoterra and Caledonia (only other secctorials with the red, white and blue, would be unlikely to get new troops,

besides, it looks like the wrong blue for NCA (too dark/saturated/whatever - I'm not a graphics guy )

I am highly sceptical we're going to see new profiles for existing PanO sectorials. Would be nice considering there wasn't anything that sparked my interest in ages, however I don't expect that cog to turn any time soon.

I doubt we'll see any significant additions to existing sectorials unless there is a new form of utility type (ie doctor or engineer) added in AF. Even then, they'll find a way by adding new profiles to existing units.

Keep the resculpts coming! Wish they'd address more of the Yu Jing profiles crying to be updated with new models.

Not particularly excited for a Naffatun box. I'm sure the sculpts will be great, but I barely use the 2 old models I have. I prefer Ghulam.

In fact, that's a really, oddly unexciting month for me.

The intruder is the only thing I find mildly exciting.
I thought Naffatun were fairly popular for being cheap fast hvy flamethrower units? Or is that an older preference?

Naffatun are popular still, of course, Their main issue is that they're not part of any (current) sectorial army.

I think the current sculpts are just fine even with one tripping over.

Crocman needs a combi model more than MSR, seeing as how the old one is no longer available, and if you do manage to hunt one down you'll be disappointed with it (compared to newer models).
