Yeah, I talked to them on Saturday and they hadn't gotten the information yet. They were "hoping to have the information by Monday".

Now I may obviously be wrong about this but I was under the impression that the dogface soldiers start out in human form and turn werewolf when wounded. Is that still the case with the devil dog for USariadna or do they start out in wolf form? If they start in wolf form, did they gain a wound or do they lose the ablative human wound the normal dogface soldiers get?

Just like the Scottish one (Cameronian?), it starts out in wolf form, as if it'd lost its "human wound". So 2 wounds

They normally do, but this could be building upon what we've seen with McMurrough now--he's permanently "trapped" in Dogface form because of a viral weapon that a Hassassin Lasiq deployed against him.

Thanks for the answers. On a mobile device, I can't make out the stats... is that loss of the ablative wound reflected in the points cost as compared with normal dogwarriors? If not, is it made up by other special abilities then?

The Cameronian is cheaper than the Dog Warrior yeah. Not sure about this one, it's already a bit different because it comes with the Antipode.

Cool, thanks; I just peeked (and didn't realize the scottish ones didn't have "human" forms) and they're 4pts cheaper. I guess we'll see when they update the army list site.

Looking at it from a Sectorial standpoint?
You can toss in another Grunt for anywhere from 10(basic profile) to 11(Forward Observer profile) to 12 points(Paramedic)--or ditch the Minuteman Lieutenant for a Grunt Lieutenant at 10 points and 1 SWC(possibly becoming 0 SWC in the Sectorial).

When I can sell some plasma, I'll be pre-ordering this box. If I had enough moolah, I'd be getting 2 of them.

Excellent! I'm not too worried about them selling out since I'll have an Exhibitors badge so can usually be lined up early if I haven't already picked it up through exhibitor trades.

That's not an expectation. Carlos confirmed that was the case in the unboxing video.

Tough choice, but it'll probably depend on whether the Warstore's preorder is still open by the time I get home.

I'm more of a Miniature Market Man these days - though I do like The Warstore too.

I think I'll wait for the Miniature Market pre-order.

Well you could wait and get the starter and the wolves, if you're not that bothered about the bike or the extras. But then I'm not sure how much cheaper just the starter and wolves would be, if it's not much it might be worth just getting the whole thing...

I'm in agreement with ImAGeek. The whole package just seems to be a better deal unless you're only really interested in specific miniatures and not the terrain and literature included.

Also, went ahead and got my Warstore pre-order in. Just a ~$10 difference which is fine considering the deferred payment. I'll just consider it the cost for the Maverick girl.

Also, keep in mind that the bike is exclusive to that box (so it could sell well on the secondary market) and the Dismount is a pre-order exclusive.

There will apparently be a bike box at some point in the future since they are AVA 5.

Curious to me that war store has it listed at $112 but CB had it marked at $100 in the unboxing.
