I would thought someone would of done this

made a complex huge web/chart that details the relationship among the primarchs

which primarchs were friends, which primarchs hated and disliked each other...which primarchs were closer to each other etc. etc.

is there anthing like that?

I love how you've used your imagination, But it's stated in a few HH books about the close relationship between Magnus and Perturabo and Magnus and Lorgar, The three of them considering themselves more like Scholars than purely warriors.

Its too complicated for a chart. Need a diagram. For example, Fulgrim was something of a smith himself. He forged Forgebreaker where Ferrus Manus made the Firesword. Manus claimed the Forgebreaker was the mightiest weapon he ever saw, superior to his own sword. But he was driven by passion for perfection rather than skill.

Now that I think about it, I don't see any "relationship" whatsoever between Perturabo and Magnus.

It's appreciation/respect.

When do they work together? Where are the librarians of the iron warriors?

I know it's easily said the same with Lorgar, but they're having conversations and the appreciation of knowledge is shared.

Perturabo has no friends. :(

Magnus, Sanguinius and The Khan set up the librarius and were firm friends. Mortarion detested them for this.

Guillimans favoured brothers were Dorn, Russ , Sanguinius and Ferrus. He held that allied to one of those legions he could never lose.

Magnus and Lorgar were close (tho not sure how Magnus could stand Lorgar). They continued to chat via the warp during the heresy, and possibly still do.

Horus was held in high esteem by all his brothers, but was notable as being the only one able to work with Angron, Alpharius and possibly night haunter.

Night haunter didn't have any friends , but was particularly hated by Vulcan and Dorn.

Perturabo considered Dorn his Nemesis.
Both Alpharius and later Lorgar hated Guilliman.

Possibly Vulkan and his XVIII saw merit in humanity and compassion whereas Ferrus and the X were more into technology, especially after his death.

Lion- Feud with Leman Russ after they had a fight, disliked and Curze. Not popular due to his hubris and ambition to lead IIRC.

Fulgrim- Closer with Ferrus than any other 2 Primarchs. Also respected Sanguinius for the IX's appreciation for culture and finer things in life. He was also extra close with Horus because the two worked together for so long when the III was severely depleted. Some disdain from Mortarion who didn't like ornamentation. Saw psyker mutation as an imperfection so likely disliked Magnus.

Perturabo- Liked Fulgrim because he always did the job as effectively as possible. Hated Dorn. Didn't have anything else.

Khan- not enough information. Probably got on with everyone.

Leman Russ- Feud with Lion, disliked Magnus and had a spat with Angron at one point. Looked down upon by most for his savagery and backwardness. One of Guilliman's Dauntless Few, and together they could never fail.

Dorn- highly respected by all, got on with most. Perturabo despised him. Guilliman said they could never lose if they worked together.

Konrad Curze- Disliked by all, tolerated by Horus. Probably had some sort of bond with Fulgrim who taught him to be civilised.

Sanguinius- one of two Primarch beloved by all. His bond with Horus was legendary, second only to Fulgrim and Ferrus. As far as I can tell no one had a bad word to say about him. As mentioned, he and Magnus were Pro-Psyker and probably got on with Khan as they were both swordsmasters. Guilliman said that together with their Legions they could never lose.

Ferrus Manus- Bond with Fulgrim was legendary, and highly respected by Guilliman, who said the Ultramarines and Iron Hands together could never lose. Probably respect between him and Vulkan for their mutual skill at the forge and strength but no close bond. Grudgingly made a maul called Illuminarum for Lorgar after the Word Bearers helped him but no love lost when the WB went traitor. He said that

Angron- Spat with Leman Russ, didn't give a feth about anyone and vice versa.

Guilliman- respected Ferrus Manus, Rogal Dorn, Sanguinius and Leman Russ especially, saying he and any one of them would be unbeatable. Despised by Lorgar following Monarchia, disdain to and from Alpharius for his unorthodox tactics. Didn't hate Lorgar until the invasion of Ultramar, at which point he probably didn't like Angron too much either.

Mortarion- kind of kept to himself. Hated Psykers so probably wasn't fond of Magnus and Sanguinius and Khan either for being Pro-Psyker. Likely to dislike Russ for his Rune Priest hypocrisy. Wasn't fond of decoration, even painted armour, but he didn't seem to hate or even shun Fulgrim.

Magnus- regarded with suspicion especially after Nikaea, particularly by Russ and Mortarion. Lorgar loved him, got on with Perturabo for his scholarly ways and thirst for ancient texts and architectural blueprints.

Horus- loved by all, tolerated even Angron and Curze. Only one close to Alpharius. Lobed especially by Lorgar and Fulgrim, and he and Fulgrim were especially close. His bond with Sanguinius was legend, second only to Ferrus and Fulgrim. May have been some resentment on Lion's behalf who thought he should have beem Warmaster.

Lorgar- no real friends. He loved Magnus and Horus above all but they didn't love him in the same capacity. Hated Guilliman following Monarchia.

Vulkan- Not really hated by anyone, he was a good guy. Probably didn't like Curze after Vulkan Lives.

Corax- not enough info. Came to blows with Lorgar when he slaughtered the Gal Vorbak, and then Curze.

Alpharius- kept to himself, only close to Horus. Hated Guilliman. for the other's disdain for his tactics.

Before the Heresy kicks off, the divisions seem to centre a lot around Horus's elevation to Warmaster. From Horus's own point of view, Gulliman, Lion and Angron (and I think Kurze) are noted as all pretty annoyed at his promotion, while Sanguinis, Fulgrim and Lorgar close ranks around him to support him. There's more to it, mostly in Horus's confession to Petronalla in False Gods (about half way through, after he's wounded), but ironicallly that's the only one of the first three HH books I don't have to hand. I believe he says something along the lines of 'We are all the Emperor's sons, but Fulgrim, Sanguinis, Lorgar and Dorn, those are my true brothers'. I'll have to check when I get back to the book in a few days, unless anyone can do so beforehand.

Outside of that, Fulgrim and Angron don't get on. mainly down to the ideological differences in the pursuit of war (perfection vs brutaility), and for the same reason, Horus isn't fond of Angron as anything other than a weapon.

Perturabo and Dorn have always had a rivalry, with the whole siegecraft thing. Fulgrim and Manus are firm friends, to the extent that Fulgrim even thinks Manus will join him in open rebellion.

Whoever said this wouldn't work as a chart was right, it's bloody complicated!
