The SoB line has been dwindling the last couple of years. About six months ago, there were 33 choices, and about two months ago, that had dropped to 29 choices. Now, it's at 28. Although, everything now appears to be in stock, whereas there were a lot that showed as "No Longer Available" or "Temporarily Out of Stock" prior to this.
So, is this where it will now stand: one pose per special weapon, one pose per seraphim, and 2 poses for Sister Superiors? Barring the 2 VSS poses, it can't fall any further without becoming an incomplete range.

Its at the point that I no longer care what FW and GW make model wise. I simply rely on other companies to do a better job. I would simply bargain on another company making some holy nuns one day. Thats why I sold my sisters a while back and eventually my Guard too. So yea its probably as good as its gonna get for sisters.

It is funny I just noticed this today as well. Rumors are Blood Angels then Necrons and then an Inquisition hardback codex. Maybe then it will finally be time to update that army.

Yes. For almost two decades we've been hoping for new models.

Oh, other companies have produced things that could be stand-ins, but personally I don't feel they really capture the essence of the army, myself.

If I had the skill or contacts I would be doing a kickstarter ASAP for battle nuns or something.
Im sure it would have huge potential as long as I dont over promise etc.
But oh well, its for someone with the know how in that area to so.

I think that's my problem, too. The Sisters are pretty iconic for being a sort of "backwater" army. I think a third-party company would have a really hard time pulling it off. And I think it's also why I almost dread the day when they get updated models: I don't have much faith that GW would do a competent job either.
Unless Jes Goodwin were to step-up, be the army's advocate, and do an entire re-work of the range a la the Dark Eldar, in anyone else's hands, it will be a disaster.

I sold off my Sisters, but I pretty much kept a handful of models I enjoyed from the range. It's sad, but I expect the army to be snuffed out rather than brought back as a full range.

28 choices that's it?!
Man brettonia has 14 items TOTAL that includes 2 army books (French and English) no longer available battle magic a set of pegasus wings and the battalion box.
They only have 9 models so 28 is a lot compared to that anyways

I dont expect it but I would not be surprised. They did that to the squats despite themhaving a strong following. Lets hope theydont do the same here.

I love the 'strong following' idea with squats.

I promise not to mention that you also have 3 plastic boxed sets Although, Brets also got the Finecast treatment, so I'll count that as a drawn combat. At least Sisters were never popular enough for them to bother with that nonsense.

I still have my 2nd Ed Sisters of Battle army, and yes, I get that I'm an example of why the Sisters have failed due to people like me not buying Sister product in the last 18-20 years. However, the reason why I haven't purchased any new Sisters is because their rules went from awesome to neat to meh to not really worth the DLC. That's on GW, not the fan base. They intentionally marginalized their own product by reducing the reasons why anyone would buy into it.
I still love my Nuns with Guns, but until GW stabilizes and codifies their rules, my Grrls will stay on the shelf.

The Studio admitted that the Squats were a mid-selling army, better than others, not as good as others. They did not get scrapped because of poor sales, they got scrapped because no one in the studio could rewrite the Army for the new Grimdark 40K, because everything they did was done by either Space Marines or Imperial Guard. Drunken Dwarves on Bikes had no place in the new vision for the IP.

The concept art for SoEM indicate that it's a Space-Paladin army, not a cheesecake army that TGG was designed and intended to be.
But, your loss.

I meant more the communication, delays, etc. so on. Although things may have changed, I gave up on following it months ago. And no, not really a loss considering I already have pretty much all the sisters I would ever need.

So only 7-10 months behind?

It's a Kickstarter. These sorts of things are par for the course. Of course, no one planned for the massive flooding in the city where RH is located, either.
I mean, if this was something where you were direct-ordering already-produced miniatures from a store that regularly does web-orders and stuff, then, yeah, that is definitely a legit complaint, but that's not the situation we're in here, it's a Kickstarter project. KS projects are not, and should not be construed as, a typical business transaction.
They had some figures recast because of quality issues, they had a few redesigns done based on userfeedback, the city flooded, French customs held some orders for a month... things that are just not the sort of thing you can anticipate happening (especially the flooding and the vagaries of Customs Officials).
At the end of the day, even if I don't get all my TGG models from RH for yet another year, that's still 10 times faster than anything GW has done for me in this direction.

I don't think I have any kickstarters that slipped that far (luckily I didn't pledge TGG). And unexpected events are why you set deadlines based on worst case, not best case. There was no way they were going to make March even without flooding and French customs. Add to that horrible communication and it is just a mess.
As for your last statement, considering they haven't produced a single sisters mini yet, GW is infinitely faster than RH on this one.

Some of the TGG Heroines will work well as either Priests or as Sisters Superior. I'm thinking especially the woman in the full carapace, or even a Living Saint, depending on how you view the divine.
