I feel you, good sir.
I didn't think I could ever be so emotional.
I'm actually glad we got rid of cable, because now I can comfortably avoid all the ESPN "My Wish" segments.

I don't know if you look at Reddit or Imgur, but a few months ago they had a guy asking to see if somebody could photoshop out the tubes and IVs from a picture of their baby since he never left the NICU before he died and they didn't have a single picture without any medical equipment in it. The response was overwhelming, and I cried like a little girl reading the whole thing and looking at the responses.
Also found out about an organization called "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep" which pairs people with dying babies in the hospital with photographers who will take free pictures of the families and their child before/after it dies so that they have some memories. My experience is still pretty raw, but I would love to get to a point where I can use my photography to help people at some point.

Well, if we're doing songs as well, I defy anyone to not be moved by the original version of Forever Autumn from War of the Worlds with Richard Burton's narration. Or, for that matter, the rest of the songs on there. Every one has something in the lyrics, music or the narration that simply cuts to the bone of emotion.

The scene in African Queen when Hepburn and and Bogie are about to be executed, talking amongst themselves (they forced the Captain to marry them).
Old Yeller.
Also the scene when the Joker sets fire to the giant stoack of money. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth from Frazzled I can tell you.
-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

As a Dad I can understand. Sounds like good works going on there.

A warming scene for me is the blessing of the sun god Frith to the rabbit patriach El-Ahrairah from the prologue of the film version of Wartership Down.
Couldn't link the original but found a remake (orginal soundtrack, replaced animation).
n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Compel, I swear that was what I learned about death from. I still won't let my son watch that transformers movie- he's seen Optimus die in the live action ones and Prime, but that scene just pushed every button.
When I finally do, I'm sure he's going to shrug and I'll be falling over myself to comfort him.

There are quite a lot of scenes that make me cry. I guess I am just very emotional. But no movie ever made me cry like Fortress of War. I don't know why, but that movie just touched something in me. If you want to, you can find the full movie on Youtube. It is a good watch.
Jonny Cash's version of Hurt gets me every time, you can feel the pain in his voice.
Also the end of We were Soldiers.
One of my favourite war films.

That Kenshiro had to leave, and ultimately that was the end of the series (there were two) and...retelling OVAs and such which I didn't like, so to me that was Kenshiro's farewell...

Comments like that for young types with no kids crack me up. I hope one day when you have a child you'll think back on this reply and think "yeah i get it now"
