I'll admit that the scene in the Croods where Nick Cage admits he's got nothing left to offer his family but his strength, then chucks them across the chasm had me in tears- and still pulls firmly on my heartstrings every time i see it.
It just came out of nowhere, in the midst of such a ridiculous movie.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.

Yeah, I still can't watch "My Screw Up" without crying like a baby. When Dr. Cox realizes he is at Ben's (Brendan Fraiser) funeral the flood gates open.

"My Lunch" ruined that song for me, I can't hear it without thinking about Doctor Cox loosing it.

And it was done very well. Watching it a second time you can clearly see it coming, but they did a good job hiding it in the episode if you didn't know the ending.

5FDP's song really gets me. Another song, Letters From War by Mark Schultz. Both of these get me. I remember getting letters and it being like I won the lottery while deployed. For Movies I can't really think of any right off hand.

This is probably my favorite series of scenes from The Wire:
Two soldiers on opposite sides of the drug war meet at the end of their careers, one disgraced and forced into retirement and the other in prison for life, and the felon pretty much gives his child to his lifetime enemy the cop because he knows what will happen to his son, should he follow the path thats expected of him, being a notorious gangsters son.
Here's the gangster laying down the law on Mother of the Year candidate Delonda, and choosing a better life for his son. A rare happy ending in the series.
Arrr! Links are jacked.
