Yea, it's the trailer for Halo 2 anniversary edition but BY GOD it looks so amazing. I have waited 10 years for this.

They seem to have aged Miranda Keyes quite a lot.

I have a younger brother who has only played halo 4, reach and halo 1. So he's a bit confused on the story. I'm looking forward to sitting down and playing this with him and getting the story straight.

For me, Halo was always at its best in COOP Campaign.

God, I miss split screen.

So, went out and bought this mess on release day, spent a good 12+ hours installing and downloading the 15 gig update (don't have the world's fasted interwebz on this side) and wow, so many problems. Is MS trying to shoot itself in the head? Has anyone managed to get a MP game in? If so, how?

At least the nostalgia from Halo 2 has been satisfied, even with some problems I've run into in the first few levels. Like saving my bloody game progress.

Does anyone else recall messing around on the silent cartographer level of halo 1, trying to launch warthogs into orbit? Damn that was fun.

See, I played Halo on the PC when it got released in yonder years, and have basically stopped following the series once Microsoft decided they didn't want my money.

I've always loved the setting, and for what is ultimately a pretty shallow FPS, the developers put an obvious amount of love into creating theme, setting and have had amazing music.

I've always wished they'd do more than just linear FPSs, they clearly have the talent to do more than that.

And maybe share it with us PC Master Race folks.

Yeah I'm in that boat now. Chose to spend £600 on a new pc instead of a new gen console. Xbone is crap. Ps4 looks good by I already had a huge selection of steam games like Rome 2 Shogun 2 planetside 2 red orchestra 2 (lots of 2s it seems) I couldn't play because my previous pc was going on 8 years old.

The only games I'm gonna miss are halo and maybe Fable. And that's not because I think they're good games per se but because I'm in love with the settings/universes . I'm reading all the halo books and comics I can find on the Amazon kindle store.
