Lugft Huron, chapter master of the astral claws , wears a terminator armor , at least the model on forge world does, so why did he stop wearing it when he fell to chaos ? Is there a reason ?

I think there are plenty of reasons a marine will chose to wear terminator armor. In most cases, as far as I know, they don't just wear one type of armor at all times. The standard armor would be power armor. It is more usable as a general armor for them. Most chapter masters will be wearing artificer armor too, since they get the best available in the chapter.
All captains, veteran sergeants, and chaptermasters will likely have their terminator honors, which means they have served in terminator squads and have the training, but they do not necessarily need to be wearing the armor.

The melta didn't do the damage. What did the damage was that the melta hit his archeotech lightning claw, the Ghost Razors, which subsequently exploded and burned him rather badly.
Considering Kharn was listed as having artificer armor in the fluff but lost it in the actual book, I'm just going with the fact that GW is pretty terrible when it comes to Chaos and their objects.

Chaos already has 2 SC in terminator armor, and with such a terrible land raider as the only transport option....

You have to buy Chaos blessings though, unlike the already purchased Iron Halo's..Which apparently broke on Huron, what with the melta blast, the ghost claws exploding, the large amount of rubble that crushed part of his body..

Yeah I know, but still GW is rather reluctant to give fluff based things that they have to CSM's, like the fact that the Diviner Ahriman can't take divination.

Yeah, which implies that the reason he doesn't wear terminator armor is because he just doesn't want to.
Or, I suppose, he can't. Perhaps he's on semi-life-support in his specially-made power armor, and if he takes it off, he dies (and, naturally, he can't wear a suit of terminator armor over his power armor).
I'd like if GW said he just doesn't want terminator anymore and then gives a reason for it. Like Huron flashing back to when he claw exploded on him and thinking "Damn, that lousy terminator armour didn't help at all. No more terminator armour for me."

Simple answer. You guys are thinking too hard, lol.
The GW model has power armor, and has for like 15 years or however old it is.
The version of him with Terminator armor is only a few years old and was created by FW in order to sell you some new shiny you didn't already have.
Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Wow, all that and he only took 1 wound! Well, I guess he lost an attack too...
Just out of curiosity, how many Chaos special characters stats went down between the Heresy and M40K? I don't have the FW books.

Its because one day while he was out of armor taking a leak his lieutenants decided it would be funny to stuff a Nurgling inside it.
He's letting it soak in bleach for 10,000 years.

I should get rid of the Guardsmen.'
I think you are forgetting a certain guardsman who saved the Emperor

II thought Ollanius Pious was rumored to be a Farseer? The Emperor's hidden concubine who sacrificed herself to give him the conviction to destroy Horus, thus proving that love can bloom in the grim darkness?

Maybe he dosn't wear terminator armour because it hurts his spine?look at the model....or maybe he wants to have a guy shoot past him in space hulk?or he just wants to fit through doorways? (only half sarcasm here.)
