I just watched Fury last night.

Now, needless to say I really want to make a diorama of a heavily damaged Leman Russ with broken tank tracks and a desperate crew fighting off horse of Cultists / Nids / Orks.
However being poor at the moment this will be a back burner project.

Has anyone else made / or thinking of making / making any dioramas directly influenced by films or perhaps non GW video games.

Or if you could what would you like to do?

Im making a doom themed diorama. Not a film, the videogame

I'm currently working on a space wolves themed 3 part battle board with "hidden" diorama's (wip with pictures here). And it will take me at least another 3 months to finish them all I think. After that I want to build a build a battle board for my own high elf army.

Idea is to create a tree of live with fiber optic lights and elfish buildings and walls surrounding the sanctum creating inner courtyards and forrest parts to reach the inner sanctum.

Cool. Chaos daemons I guess? You using a Soul Grinder? That always reminded me of Doom, the way it's half biological and half cybernetic, like "Sarge" and "the Pinky"

Also that Space Wolf Battle Board looked awesome. I love the tomb raider style cavern.


I saw Golden Daemon winner once inspired by the intro cinematic to Starcraft. It was a Space Wolf being armoured by robotic arms.

I certainly am using a soul grinder. That was my inspiration ha. I gave it 2 mechanical claws though cos i didnt like its right arm options. Doom guy is a lone sm scout. I started it months ago but always kept leaving it. Gonna pick it up again this month as the local gw comp is duel.

I made a small objective marker based on the last cutscene in Halo Reach. With the glassed surface and scorched helmet.
