And in an even worse display of PoTG, I got a full team rez and play went to a Reaper triple kill

I don't know how you hold such patience in pick up games - I play Lucio for a more stress free environment

I don't even bother healing them.

I had an amazing game as Reinhardt yesterday. Didn't get to win, team didn't know what "playing conservative" meant and went off to do things normal lemmings do: die, one after the another. Tried giving some tips, just getting flamed for it. Some people really are dense. I really need to find people to play with.

While we're on the subject of Play of the Game, has anyone EVER seen Ana get one?

I got one, slept a genji into the pit on Nepal's temple as he was jumping across with Ult, then out DM'd a 76 on point.

It was worth spending the gold on the "shh" intro

Just had a game on Nepal as Reaper. Our Zarya catches 5 of the enemy team with Graviton Surge, I get Ana ult and pop Death Blossom. Next map the exact same thing happened again. 2 quintuple kills in one match.

Roadhog got PotG because he pushed two people into the pit with his ultimate. I realize environmental kills are heavily favoured, but...

The play system is broken. I can count the number of Mercy plays I've gotten (even after 60+ hours as her.....) on two hands. She got nerfed because people kept crying that their double kills weren't getting play of the game because Mercy got a triple rez.

Its really odd.

Iv seen a metric butt ton of 2-3 rez instead of multiple 4-5 wipes.

also plently of 5 man rez that turns into a counter team wipe.

not much a system can do to prioritize good plays from worthless plays.

It's been my experience that Mercy plays are like finding a unicorn. Essentially non-existent, but maybe that's just my awful luck making an appearance again and again

iv only ever seen two in my entire life.

iv seen a ton of mercy plays during that one section of time that it was every other play because they changed the PotG algorithm

Oh I agree with you on the Ana front, I've only seen one. But that just (to me) reinforces the point that the Play system needs a change, right now it mostly favors kills over healing/assists/good ult usage/whatever else

It does need a chsnge. However, double kills kills are often more interesting to watch than, say, sleeping an ulting soldier and then healing the tanks for a bunch. If only the POTG algorithm recognized good counter-ulting on classes that aren't Mercy...

I don't disagree, but when I get three triple rezzes in a game that saved a push each time and play goes to Genji for a double kill I reserve the right to be mildly irritated

I've mentioned it here before. But quite a while back, I got a quintuple kill with Mei. I caught and killed four of the enemy players with my ult, and then killed a fifth as he charged up immediately afterwards.

The PotG went to another character instead (can't remember who) for a triple kill.

The system's always been screwed up, unfortunately And it appears that Blizzard's not very good at fixing it.

They're too focused on deciding whether or not McCree needs to be buffed or nerfed again

I've been playing as the new Symmetra, I've got to say, she seems like, really, really awesome.

Providing I get the drop on characters and circle round them, I seem to be winning fights with offensive heroes like Tracer and Mcree.

I've found my playstyle with her tends to be more towards the 'super aggressive' than I think is intended. - I'll often head towards somewhere between the enemy teams third and quarter map points and start laying turrets around in ambush positions. - Once all 6 are down, I'll head back to the main fight.

From there, I'm calling out the turrets as they die to the team, hopefully revealing the other teams movements. - If I'm placing my turrets right, they've often ended up killing enemy teammembers as they retreat from fights with the rest of my team.

Well, they ARE Sentry turrets. That's sort of their purpose.

Aye, finding creative spots for the turrets is what she's all about IMO.

How many turrets do you guys usually drop in one spot? I tend to go for three groups of two or two groups of three. The Carwash is usually overkill and means you're not covering enough space.

I never go more than 2 in the same place, and only 2 if it's a case of there's a lot of fighting to be had there.

I'd much rather have loads of single turrets about to bleed the other team.

EG, they walk into a building. Turret. - They ignore it, it's not worth their time dealing with. Travel through the building, exit it. Turret.

Just before they leave the next building. Turret. Oh, and they're dead now.

Got one. Mei froze people, died and I was the only one that managed to get few of them. It was very underwhelming play of the game, but I can say that I've seen that rare unicorn that is Ana PoTG.

What ya end in last season?

Ended my placement matches for season 2 at 2502 with 6 wins, 3 losses, and a draw. I was a Support Main for the duration of it all

Same. This season I got ranked half of my rank last season, and while I am climbing it's slow and all my friends are too high ranked to group with.

Then you are in the danger zone for wild variation of placements unfortunately. best to find a group and knock it out team style. even winning all 10 might lower you though so i dont know.

But its like a bandaid. get it over with quick then you have more time to climb.
