Hey! Me again proposing a new "command" for the guard.
At the start of every game the commander can pick a single battle song to apply to every infantry unit in codex.
I have only come up with one.
"Pack up your troubles" Whilst singing this rousing song guardsmen can sometimes feel invincible, too many casualties however will make them quickly lose that idea.
What it does:
Squads can now take up to 50% casualties before having to take a morale check, when this is done "pack up your troubles" has no effect on that squad.
Here's the rules:
Make your own up! I'd love advice as well
Oh, and they have to be named after all war song (WWI/WWII) ( if you can't think of a name then put the idea and i'll see if I can name it)

The Tanks Are Rumbling Cross The Field:
Can be issued to a tank squadron at the start of the game. When a tank from this squadron becomes a wreck as a result of enemy actions (shooting, mellee, psychic powers, etc, but not when it looses it's last HP when immobilized on DT or when your own shots scatter on top of it), infantry models within 6' get Preferred Enemy.
Sailor's Shanty: the unit sings a jaunty tune about lasses and wenches, booty and of course the harsh mistress, the sea.
Effect, got yer sea legs yet laddy? This unit treats all dangerous terrain as difficult and difficult terrain as if it were open ground. Or could just give the Move through Cover USR for the turn. But that's not near as much fun.
I could also see Battle Hymn of the Republic being pretty popular what with the God smiting and all that. Not sure what it's effect would be though. Probably just a morale thing?
If anyone wants to add any WWI tunes would could get an "Over the Top, boys!" bayonet charge esque tune that gives the unit rerolls or a bonus attack. Or to receive the charge and gain the counter attack special rule until your next turn.
I think all these necessitate the addition of musicians to units, so I can model up dudes in kilts playing the bagpipes or some conscript drummer and fife players.

If they added in musicians i would be over the moon. No really. I'd love a guy screaming along with a pistol/sword and trumpet.

There's also a song about pilots that comes to my mind. But it's written after the war so i guess it wouldn't fit.
Maybe there's some japanese song about kamikaze? It'd be awesome to apply something like: "You can intentionally crash the flyer. BS matters when the flier crashes and burns intentionally."

Blood Upon the Risers.
All Deep Striking infantry units gain Feel No Pain on the turn they arrive.
"That time I only loaded the cannon with powder. Next time, I will fill it with jewels and diamonds and they will cut you to shrebbons!" - Nogbad the Bad.
Rule description: After this unit successfully charges the enemy and is in base contact, the unit can elect to detonate all grenades on every model at their initiative instead of attacking normally. Grenades with a blast template are placed directly on top of the model that are using it and need not to roll scatter, Grenades without blast templates instead wound all models in base contact of the model using it. There are no cover saves allowed because this is in close combat.

I actually laughed out loud when I heard this. This is insanely funny.
