Hey,

So to make a bit of extra cash while I'm at university, I decided to put out an advert for commission work (see link below). So far, I have had a number of very positive responses, and yesterday evening, I took on my first assignment.

As a way of providing regular updates for my clients, as well as showcasing my work to help build interest, I have started this log of my progress.

Here is my current advert for any of you who have taken an interest in what you see here, feel free to get in touch: *Advert in Progress Currently*

+++ A quick note on layout +++

Where possible, I will use one post per commission and return to edit and update that post with my progress instead of putting a new post up for every update.

+++ Assignment One: Warhammer Nurgle Lord and Herald +++

For my first assignment, I have been tasked with building and painting these two gorgeous miniatures:

The client's brief was: 'drab but still striking where possible - a sore red to offset the light browns/greens for example... A requisite amount of rust and tarnish on blades and armour... Not against the traditional nurgle colours, but would prefer that there was nothing too bright if its being used for a significant portion of the model'.
Otherwise, I have been given free reign to do what I think is best.

In terms of basing, the client wanted: 'Something fairly easily reproducable, but also in fitting with the disgusting nurgle warriors'. Again though, this has been left to me to build on.

Only other thing asked was that a full stage by stage guide is provided so that it can be reproduced if needed so that will be included in the log.
