Picked up Black Crusade and the Tome of Fate book from the Holiday Sale and thought I would eventually get the other Gods books. Looking at the site they are all sold out atm but then if I look around on amazon or ebay they seem bizarrely priced. Does anyone know if those books (Tome of Blood, Tome of Corruption, Tome of Something Slaanesh Related I Forget At the Moment) are out of print or something?

They are out of print (which I don't understand?!?) However you can get PDF copies from DrivethruRPG.

That is very disappointing to hear.

Agreed. It's a pet hate I have with Fantasy Flight, and it's why I abandoned their complete range of WH40K RPG's. I'm a bit of a completist, but I hate having to rush to buy a complete range because it has a sell-by-date attached to it. Unfortunately, I think this is something FF does with all it's title's. I have jumped in with Star Wars, but only because it's so obviously a cash cow for FF, I'm confident they won't just let the books and resources slide into OOP status.

I have no proof, but now that FF has merged with a larger gaming company, I have a gut feel that all ties with GW will be allowed to decay.

Oh honestly people, do your research!

1. FFG holds very little stock at their HQ because they are not in the business of direct sales with the exception of a single store-front they opened up as an FFG-centric gaming centre (kind of Warhammer World-y). They do a little through their webstore, but most of their stuff is sold by other retailers. The majority of print runs go to distributors across the world. When they sell out from their own warehouse, which has to cater to all the games they make (and they make heaps), they list it as out of stock. There's nothing unusual about that.
2. A very quick glance at their website would tell you that they're currently doing another print run of Tome of Excess and Tome of Decay (along with many older books, including the Rogue Trader's GM kit, one of their oldest 40K RPG products). They're still making them. In fact, they've sold their last run, so they have to make more. That's a good thing.
3. Traditionally FFG has had problems with supply to Europe, something that this recent merger is meant to fix, given that they're merging with a massive European distributor.

You can still buy them elsewhere, like Miniature Market, or Wayland, and many other places.

They're not "out of print".

That is much less disappointing.

While I will concede to your greater knowledge of the workings of FF, I'm going to call you out on this point. I did my research, such as it is, to find those books and like the OP, found most stores out of stock and insane prices on the second hand market. While it may well be that FF does limited print runs, because there isn't a constant supply to market, they are EFFECTIVELY OOP. The OP has no way of knowing when FF will have a restock or a way of securing a place on the copy list for when that restock happens.

Just to be clear, when I talk about pulse to market, I'm comparing FF supply to games such as Pathfinder, D&D, Eclipse Phase or Shadow run. If FF really wanted to support their games better and not have their products misjudged as OOP, why not just run a Print on Demand service? Or give DrivethruRPG the rights to print on demand physical copies? That way they wouldn:'t need to hold a huge stock either.

P.S. to the OP, good luck getting Tome of Blood.....

As long as they will be reprinted I think I am fine. I have a lot of other books to hold me over for some time, and even those haven't arrived yet.
