When the Oculus Rift finally becomes available do you think we will be able sort out the Survivors from the Zombie food? Will the joystick warriors be as good at surviving a Zombie horde using the Oculus or will it allow some of us joystick warrior wannabies a chance to shine? )

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

I...don't get what you're trying to say.
Even if a Zombie Apocalypse was possible (hint: it's not), the most important skill you should have is cardio. You can be a super buff guy, but trying to overwhelm zombies with sheer physical force where one bite means "gg" is a terrible idea. You need to be able to run. Fast. Long.

Indeed.
be helpful if the OP ( as/when) could explain a bit further quite what he means.
Going to lock this until then.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Thank you for the unlock reds8n. To quote my PM to reds8n:
Basically I was wondering if the Oculus Rift would give gamers a more realistic gaming experience when playing Zombie Apocalypse games. I was watching Z Nation the other day and was thinking how easier it seemed to defend yourself against Zombies in such shows, compared to computer games. Perhaps VR systems like Oculus would make the gaming experience more realistic?

Not really. I would say the realism aspect would be better in stuff like the Zombie Run and so forth, even down to the detroit business planning to buy a couple of blocks of land and run a Zombie survival game IRL.

I can't see myself wearing an Oculus Rift during Zombies, Run!...I mean..eh...that'd be super dangerous.
