I really like this idea after our friend had brought up he was having trouble against Terminators. Could this be the way to fix termies? My theory is that if you add in an Inquisitor with Liber Heresius and stick them in a Land Raider you can boost them up to get in to close combat quite easily. Then they would have rerollable armor/invuln saves in CC as well as FNP.

So you may be thinking. "well that's an expensive squad." But for how tough it is, I think it should work.

And of course now there will be a new Blood Angel codex, so hopefully they don't lose the Sanguinary Priest giving FNP to his unit.

They would also have rerolls to hit (and wound if you take a second AM priest), +1s on the charge and if you give the inquisitor rad granades, -1t to the opponent. It will require 2 CAD and an allies however. Make the priest corbs to tank any shooting as well.

So you would have:

Inquisitor with liber + rad
2 AM priests (inq priests are not ICs)
Corbs
5 termis (3 with th/ss)
425pts

Landraider crusader with mm
260pts

Reasonable price for the squad, its just the LR that hikes it up.

I would instead drop the inquisitor and LR and instead get a bunker with escape hatch to move them forward 18" turn 1. Saving you 230pts. Means you could get another 3 termis and still have extra points.

Just bare in mind the Priest must test using his own Leadership in order to use those Prayers, which is only 7.

Why does he have to use his leadership? i thought it was just a standard Ld check in which case you would use the highest in the group. Termies are LD 9

In 7ed you only use the highest Ld when the unit makes a Ld test.

^This is true. Also more of a reason to Include at least 2 priests!

Or run the priests from the SoB dex and take the relic to auto pass the war hymns.
