Were looking around on the GW website and the tk army book is no longer available. Anyone know anything about this? Is it the same in other countries?

Yep, gone in the UK too.

Interestingly, Tomb Kings is one of the few remaining books where not all of the units are represented by models. What was presumably going to be a Colossus/Hierotitan dual kit never happened

But they've just released Nagash which you need the TK book to use... I really don't get GW these days.

Still available in US. We lack models for titan/colusus, and a handful of characters, well technically there is a Arkhan model, but not foot or chariot based. Also Skeleton Horsemen have been out of stock and unable to order through my LGS for months.

I like the current book enough to use it despite it's problems that UL fixes. But I'd love new character models, Plastic carrion and ubshati.

Could it not just be out of stock rather than actually stopped?

The Vampire army book was out of stock for a couple of weeks over here in Australia, but i think its back now. Having said that, the Tomb Kings book is also out of stock just now.

It says 'No longer available' with the greyed out photo with 'sold out'' written over it.

Like I said, they just released Nagash, and you need the TK book to play the TK models in the Undead Legions list, why would they get rid of TK after Nagash..? And why stop selling the bloody book? There doesn't seem to be any logic from them anymore.

Two things 1.Define eliminated 2.I doubt there's anyone still at GW from when that quote was taken (except JJ but he sold his soul for a regular paycheck long ago).

By number one, I mean do I think like squats that an entire race will be shot in the head off camera then dumped in a shallow grave never to be spoken of again? No, I mean there will be no new rules\fluff of any meaning, older models will simply stop being sold while the newer better looking or more generic models will be amalgamated into the new Undead legions faction.

This is not just a TK thing there's a reason the elves never got any new models the End Times are not done with them yet and I have to chuckle at some of the gloating by DE players regarding there victory

You think the End Times has been a bloodbath by GW wait until it ends and they start on the actual fantasy model range.

Yeah because GW have never invalidated a book before. Plus you won't need it once you have the undead legions army book.

Not this quickly. And yeah that Undead Legions book that we know for sure is coming.

I wouldn't mind so much if they communicated. 'We've stopped printing the TK army book because we're working on a dedicated Undead Legions army book.' 'This awesome Nagash book is only limited edition because we do no customer research.' Just let us know a bit what's coming. Keeping us completely in the dark about releases does absolutely nothing for them.

Actually they invalidated a book within a few weeks with ravening hordes I think it was dark elves.

I honestly have to say I would not be rushing out to throw money at GW for fantasy stuff when it's as up in the air as this about what happens next.

Hell it's called the End Times GW might just say at the end thanks for playing fantasy we hope you enjoyed the experience the old world is gone feel free to play historical battles. But if you want new models and support for a game come join us in 40k our profitable IP.

Wasn't Ravening Hordes meant to be a tide over type thing like the WD WoC and BA dexes?

There's already rumours for 9th edition, and a couple more end times books coming. I think fantasy will be okay for a while. And 40k is not without its flaws.

But if GW are planning to do that, well, this is exactly what I'm talking about with the lack of communication.
