Looking for people to evaluate my Khorne list and possibly give me different ideas to add / remove from the list to make it better. I have sepreated the list into squads so you know who is with what.

Kharn The Betrayer (Warlord)
9x Berzerkers
Land Raider (Dozer Blades)

Chaos Lord with MoK, Axe of Blind Fury, Sigil and VoTLW
9x Berzerkers with VoTLW
Rhino (Dozer Blades)

9x CSM
9x CSM
9x CSM
9x CSM

Vindicator

Heldrake

I can feel the fluff oozing off this list.

Putting such an expensive melee force in a rhino is ill advised. Not only is a rhino not an assault vehicle, but it is only AV11. If you somehow make it into combat range, you will have to spend a round outside of the rhino gathering yourself before you can attack. You just gotta give em a land raider. If its too expensive, don't take the unit.

Someone once told me: One Vindicator is a victory point, two are a threat, and three are a strategy. People often find themselves with a few leftover points and take a naked vindicator because it seems cheap for what you get. Its not quite so, they need armor saturation and certain upgrades to do anything but explode. Check this out: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/607867.page

As for all the CSM squads, imo giving cultists are the best way to bulk a CSM force, or a CD force for that matter. For 60 points, a 10 man squad with MoK has 40 ATTACKS on a charge!

Wondering where the upgrades are for the vanilla CSMs. Certainly they should have some flamers, at the least?

Maybe with the CL, put him on a bike and set him up with bikers / spawn as fast attack? With that artefact, you are going to want him getting into battle asap. The Rhino is not an assault vehicle and is going to mean he faces a round of shooting.

I originally had the lord on a jugg with 5 spawn but opted for a higher body count to secure objectives etc.

Deepstriking termies are always nice! Just be careful about their positioning because with the right weapons they can be killed very easily. I would give em power axes for some heavy armor killing goodness.

Looks like you could just ditch the vindicator, a squad of CSM, and the rhino for another Landraider, which I think would make a decently solid list. I wouldn't even bother shooting until you've delivered their payloads.

seems an awful lot of points for what you get. we are talking just under 500 points for them both. and once the berz are delivered, they are just 4 twin lascannons effectively with 14/14/14

Another good way I found to run the Juggerlord is in a blob of cultists (25+). Lots of ablative wounds, fearless, and the Lord could potentially detach if you want that extra bit of speed getting into combat.

i like this...

so if im removing a killing unit of berz .. Is having 1 single sq of berz with kharn in the LR enough ? or do you think id need another cc unit

edit: also what about term lord instead of the jugg>?

This, although the spawn are fine too.

Another idea ive toyed with (if your open to FW) is kharn + 24 cultists inside a spartan tank with ceramite and twin quad lascannons. That unit smacks imperial knights around along with most anything else. Flank it with a couple mauler fiends and DS in some lone mutilators and your off to a good start on pressure. Add some podded berserkers (or chosen MoK with 4 melta guns and icon actually) and maybe some khornate bikers and thats one helluva impact.

well yes, but that's where CSM suffer is lack of viable CC delivery options. With just one Landraider it's is going to be focused down before you can deliver the payload which is the real killyness. Two are much harder to kill with most lists, so most of the time at least one of your expensive CC squads will make it to combat. As it stands, most lists can focus down one landraider and won't have to think twice about popping the rhino that your other expensive CC squad is in. Its also not an assualt transport so your 10 expensive MEQ bodies will have to stand in the open for a turn before you get to do assault even IF they are in range.

That's a lot of 9s for a Khorne list. You sure you aren't Tzeentchian?
