Soo, the logical next book after Khaine...

Book one: The rise of the undead and the Lore of Undeath. (anti-chaos)
Book two: The rampage of the Glottkin and the power of Nurgle. (chaos)
Book three: the unification of the elves and the rise of Malekith (anti-chaos)
Book four: should be a Chaos book, yes?

So, what do we think?

The End Times: Malagor?
The End Times: Van Horsstman?
The End Times: Valkyia?

I'm hoping for another Chaos book, the other gods need some loving.

Rumours are currently

Strong:
Skaven
Archaon

Weak:
O&G/Ogres
Men (Empire/brettonia)
The Under Empire (Dwarfs / Skaven, possibly O&G with night gobos) no not combined just a book detailing the fighting & wars going on underground primarily between those 2.

Outside of requiring replacements for the Fiends & Kipper, Slaanesh is overall pretty well off... *IF* Chaos is going to get a second staring role, I think both Khorne & Tzeentch need the loving a bit more since both are pretty pants right now on their own.

Every reliable rumor monger however is saying the filthy cheese lords are next up, with Thanquol taking a leading role, and a shiny new plastic, (and apparently massive!), Vermin Lord kit.

So, as far as Chaos goes... can we say, rats?!

Next end times is definitely going to be Skaven.

Now how they fit into the story is beyond me... not sure if they're even going to take notice of what's going on the surface.

Then there's one after that which most popular rumors have at End Times: Human Type Guys!

I would personally love to see some more chaos love, particularly for Slannesh.

As far as I've heard the final book will be called Archaon & focus on the final invasion.

Harry has hinted at Skaven first.
Plus it would fit with whole 'Four Horseman' paralleling they've got going on... We've had Nagash (Death), Glotkin (Pestilence) & Khaine (War). Just missing 'Famine' which is much more befitting the Skaven.

I'd wager an internet cookie Archaon as the fifth and final book who's the coming 'Satan/Moloch/Big Baddie!' the 'Horsemen' riding forth heralds...
Since we already have the Legions list though, that book could maybe give us new rules for super Archaon, plus perhaps his other generals, and then the combined list for what's left of The Empire and Bretonnia joining forces to save the world? (just random guessing/wishlisting on my part!)

I'd still bet though that whatever happens, we're still not going to see those plastic Greater Daemon kits that both Harry & Hastings have gone about since mid 2012...

I know that, but do you think they're going to just rehash that same old story ?

I doubt it. So assuming they don't just, ya know, re-write the same damn story we've all already read, i'm not sure what they are going to do.

I'm thinking it might be spotlight on Skaven, with dwarves as the backdrop focus (i.e. - kind of like Glottkin where Chaos was in the spotlight and empire was in the backdrop).

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

If I can pipe in with some ignorance, where are these hints and apparent confirmations on a Skaven book?

What?!......

No. That is the best weapon ever made or one of the best. It's supposed to make runefangs look like baby toys. In the current skaven book a hit from the fellblade is equivalent to being hit by a magical cannonball that re-rolls enemy ward saves (and your own if you even have one) and you can hit more than once.

Even if it was destroyed chances are the skaven will make a new one or a better weapon and do what they did way back when. Even if that's not the case there's still the case of the horned rat coming into being. Who knows what special weapons he brought with him.

Haha, I would LOVE to see that, but it will probably be "End Times: Shadow of the Horned Rat" or something like that.
