I know the game ended a while ago, but I was hoping an ex judge would be around who can answer a few questions my groups keep having.

1. Misdirection and many other cards remove attackers from combat, if the attacker strikes with a weapon, does he get removed before striking. Or will the weapon be exhausted and resources lost.

2. Using older cards in new format gives us headaches over target party, affects all parties, or friendly parties, are the seperate and not share bonuses?

Not a judge, but my two cents-
1. Depending on the card, but "Removed from combat" meant that the attacker basically deals no damage, and stays exhausted.
2. What cards are you referring to? Using Raid Deck cards outside of the raid or something?

Black Bases and Grey Plastic Forever:My quaint little hobby blog.

40k- The Kumunga Swarm (more)
Count Mortimer’s Private Security Force/Excavation Team (building)
Kabal of the Grieving Widow (less)

Plus other games- miniature and cardboard both.

I assume he means cards like A Break in the Action, Aleyah Dawnborn, Aura of Anger and Battleshout.

I hope this explains it for you:
Party (415.8b): Cards in a player's control are collectively called his party. There is no limit to the size of each party. A card enters a player's party as it enters play under a player's control or that player gains control of it. A card leaves a party as it leaves play or changes controllers. A card in play that gains or loses a card type neither enters nor leaves a party.

Essentially, all cards under a single players control counts as a party. If you are playing a team game, each player on each team has a party. If a card says it affects cards in your party and you're playing a team game, it ONLY affects cards under your control. If it says it affects an opposing party, you must choose the opponent you wish to use it on in a team game. The cards that you want, in the case of a team game, are cards that target friendly cards, as those can target your own cards and any card your teammate(s) have in play.

Hope I helped.
