The problem with running one is it immediately gets targeted with everything your opponent can hit them with, limiting the effectiveness. The anni barge then becomes very good at killing aircraft, but slightly less effective against everything else, thus limiting it's over all effectiveness unless your opponent is fielding many flyers.

The Hydra does not have an ability that greatly increases the effectiveness of snap shots.

The Hydra has practically nothing of value at this point

I read it as the royal court is a formation only.

The other part of the leak just said crytek and lords would be treated like tech marines are for CSM. For every HQ you purchase you can take one cryptek or lord taking up no FOC slot. At least thats how it read to me.

Either way I'd just wait a week since that rumor was coming from a garbage source.

Except that Skyfire works on Skimmers which means hitting is completely possible, it's actually doing anything useful when you hit that's the hard part.

It's 22 double sided ones, Noctis. There's like 30 or so in the current necron book, but some might be joined or split up (CCB, Crypteks, Lords, etc).

I think it's pretty sad we don't see a new kit as well. Sort of a missed opportunity on GW's part I think. I understand Blood Angels and Sisters players feel it's par the course, but Necrons are an entire xenos race unto their own, seems like a swing and a miss to release no new units. I suppose it'll save me money though. Good job GW.

30(ish) spots for the troops, etc..
a couple of spots for weapons and items
the rest of them for data slates?

Is this the first use of such cards for quick reference? I love the idea of them will certainly help me in game.

Considering I've seen people forget that Skyfire works on Skimmers when talking about the Hydra I say it's not my fault.

There is also the wonders of the internet not that im condoning that sort of thing, but if thats the only way to get them without buying a limited codex....

But then I'd need to print them myself, might as well not have them at all.

Put them on your tablet or phone or something saves carrying tons of print outs, next week will be exciting though for sure!

Well so far kits have been before the codex release haven't they? So that's probably all we are getting :( most of our stuff is plastic anyway!

It's in the rulebook isn't it? Allies matrices don't change with the codex as far as I know.

Blood Angels had the assault terminators and librarian after the codex. I believe there will be a plastic cryptek as well.

I dunno, if its just the cryptek left they might as well have released it with the lord... a whole week release slot just for the cryptek seems unlikely? Unless of course we have another kit waiting...

I'd rather have new warriors, but i might aswell wait out the remain centuries until their release in stasis

They'd have frontloaded with the good one if they had multiple kits, I'd have figured.

As I've mentioned before though: If they are reboxing warriors with larger bases, they should really redo the sprue to attach the heads by the chin rather than the cheeks. I'm not even talking an actual resculpt here, just to address that the heads are far too difficult to detach neatly.
