its the same thing as eternal warrior but better. (why not a shadowfield that can come back on some sort of a not bull roll)
On what bases is that obsidian orb and pistol from?
Was it in the older book?
Edit: Actually the orbg was
ap 3 not 2. why change it
his scepter was a poison 3 weapon why give it haywire.
Actually it's a lot worse then Eternal Warrior, especially considering he gave up a wound on his Old profile to get it. Since it's only one use, it basically adds a single extra wound to him that circumvents Instant Death. Ghazzy, T 5 W 4 Eternal Warrior. Dante, T 4 W 3 Eternal Warrior. Logan, T 4 W 4 Eternal Warrior. They all have invulnerable saves (Ghazzy doesn't get his all the time) and all these characters also have a 2+
Sv, it makes no sense for Vect to cost the same amount with not a fraction of the defense.
The reason a regenerating Shadowfield wouldn't work is because, for me at least, 5/6 Vect only gets a single failed save and he is dead. Maybe it's my tendency to make every single <6 shot save and fail the first >6 that comes my way, but being an expensive combat beat stick without Eternal Warrior and T 3 really, really sucks. For those of you who play Fantasy, it works almost exactly like the Carstein Ring where Vlad comes back to life after he is killed, except in Fantasy the first
Str 6 shot that comes your way won't splat your expensive Over Lord.
The reason for upping his Weapons is two-fold, 1) He doesn't hold up for being as good in combat as the other LOW's so that left me two options, Make the Scepter
AP 2 or give it something special. I went with the funner option, but if you think
AP 2 is more appropriate that would also work. 2) The increased Soul-Orb was to give him an option Vs 2+
Sv's, but if the Scepter went to
AP 2 of course the Orbs would revert to
AP 3.
As for the Chariot, I'll be really honest, the rules for it really confuse me! What shots go on who and who get's to attack and all. I didn't feel confident i could make rules that didn't break, well,
40K!
