Waiting at the Dark Tower steps..

Great game last night played old codex wolves and my stompa goes into melee with blood claws with lucas the trickster he kills lucas person I was playing against then explains stasis bomb. I collect wolves and use there new codex but I was playing old wolves and lucas the trickster stasis bomb only works on characters. BUT the old codex it works on anything.

Point is my stompa went into stasis

Anyone else ever get trolled by the trickster!

She didn't have the new codex and so she just went with the old. She also specifically brought him just for the stompa which was kinda annoying but I understand that killing the stompa is kinda main priority but still insta killing the stompa is kinda BS.

Well certainly unique way to approach the problem.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Since you were using the old dex that does work, but in the new update, it only works in a challenge. So technically, what she did is cheating.

I heard of a game like this recently.

Some one tried to use it to counter Bigmek Buzzgob, who can become a character stompa.

The confusion ended the game right there.

Why?

Clearly both parties had to agree it was ok to use the old dex.

Yeah but I was kinda tricked cause I thought that the old codex would not have such a broken rule! She just said I am bring the trickster and all I thought was "dont let the big mek challenge him." Had no clue! But it all good we laughed about the idea of a stompa being in stasis for all time!

I have never played with/against someone with a reaver, but I thought you were unable to have them assault non-superheavies. (This just might be me remembering something from a while back)

I had always had this grand idea of an Emperor Class being stuck in stasis because of a lucky roll. The hilarity is just too good to pass up.

That is one way to take care of a super heavy with a sub 200 point model A++. Got to give some credit that's pretty tricky .

It's not correct IIRC.

In the superheavy rules, I believe it says that any effects that would remove it from play do D3 hull points of damage instead. Invincible Behemoth should be the rule. I think the Stompa has this rule. Not sure about Lukas' rule, but a 5 second google tells me it's a remove from play effect, so it now does d3 HP of damage instead.
