I just got some good news, A friend, Who used to play Infinity with his friend, Is going to start playing Infinity again due to the long awaited third edition book comming out! That means he and his friend will be comming arround the club ocasionaly (Not very often though since he lives far away now and his friend lives in the next town over..) to play Infinity! That means, I'l most likely get to play Infinity again! Yay! I only played one match so far, With some models I traded a couple of Magic the Gathering cards for and I liked it, But the guy I played against did not (He had played a few times before, And found that you can spend all orders on one stronger model and thus finds it boring and quit playing..) So I'm realy excited to be getting back into Infinity, Even if it will be only the ocasional rare match. ^_^

If you are going to play ocasional matches I have a good tip, avoid kill each other scenarios, play some missions instead, doesn't matter whether they are from the rulebook, Infinity Tournament System missions or IJW's Yet Another Mission System, I've heard really good things about YAMS but it isn't a thing in Barcelona so I haven't tried it (yet), but yeah, kill each other games are not the most enjoyable way of playing (at least to me).

Apparently, the 3rd edition missions are less weirdly specialist oriented than ITS. Worth a try.

Yeah, there are 4 missions IN the N3 book to play, so "Kill 'em all" should only be a last resort (or the intro scenario to icestorm).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I shall be sure to mention doing the missions! Oh oh oh! What paints do everyone use to paint their infinity models? ^_^

I use Vallejo and the seemingly everlasting Citadel paints (the older ones, when there were Regular, Inks and Foundation)

Pretty much the same, branched into the Vallejo airbrush lines recently though.

Vallejo seems popular, My friend who plays Infinity also uses Vallejo for all his models so I might look into those ^_^

I like Vallejo because of the dropper bottles and its cheaper than GW stuff. Between the Game color/air and Model color/air range your pretty well off with a range of colours.
