To me it looks like it should be the same as bail but the blood angles players at my gaming store say it like ball.

Of course its this. Though as likely its the old world god worshiped via flames on alters of bronze as its the later "demon". Most of the Phoenician offshoots (Carthage, Philistine) followed him and it ties into the whole Blood Angle thing quite well. Fire Fertility Sacrifice... yeah fits the bill to me.

Bahl/Barl like in Diablo 2. Used to pronounce it Bay-al/ Bail when I was younger. Those 2 seem the most correct, anything else is pretty odd especially Ball... What's up with that one?

Baal is a reference to the god Baal from northern Africa, which is pronounced bay-ul. It's not 'murican pronunciation versus British pronunciation, it's true pronunciation versus people who don't know what they're talking about.
