After seeing all the Imperium symbols on the Black Library advent calender, I thought just maybe, that there would be a dataslate for Marbo. But, no. Guess GW is really just a grinch this year.

This is completely unacceptable. We all know the reason they moved Marbo to a dataslate is to make more money, and now the dataslate is waiting for a release slot so GW's revenue is not increased above certain margins.

Dataslates need to go.

I agree. Just put ALL of the rules, dataslates whatever for an army in a codex. if they come up with additions or extras, I feel they can shelf it till the time comes around to redo/update the codex and add it in then so we dont have loads of extra crap.
Would also make each upcoming codex have new stuff instead of just being a reprint.

Let me make myself clear. I have yet to ever pruchase a dataslate or any other rules outside of codex. I just was hoping against apparent hope that there would be a Marbo dataslate.

Marbo wasn't 'moved to a dataslate. He was removed from the codex because he was a little embarrassing in light of GW Legal's claim in court (during the Chapterhouse case) that all of their creations are 100% born from their designers' heads and not in any way influenced by other material.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure Marbo will never be making a comeback; the days of 80s style cooless and Sly Stallone artwork in a GW dex are looong over.

GW is scared of girls. Why do you think they have so much trouble sculpting attractive female models? Because girls have cooties and the staff at GW don't like looking at them for too long because it makes them feel funny in their naughty place.

Shame.

Not that I'd ever willingly pay for content that should have been included in the already costly codices.

In the warp, searching for Marbo

He's not dead, he's just up there fixing(closing) the Eye of Terror...

Maybe they'll give his fluff an overhaul, name change, and a new model. He won't be the Marbo we all knew and loved...but it will be him.

After all these years of searching for Marbo...he found me. Heretics beware! He's back!

It's Marbo. He's so good at infiltrating he's gone meta and is hiding from GW.
