Okay, so this list is made off the wording in the codex "Lord of Plague". It says if you take a Greater Deamon you can take DP's as heavy support choices FROM THE CODEX. So, for each CAD you have you can take DP's as a heavy and not have to take a Greater Daemon more than once. So without further ado...

CAD #1: Kor'Goth's Warhost

++HQ++

GUO (Kor'Goth): w/ ML 1 - 190

++Troops++

Nurglings - 45
Nurglings - 45

++Heavy Support++

Daemon Prince: w/ Daemonic Flight, Warp-forged Armour, DoN - 220

CAD #2: Dren'kath's Brotherhood, twice allied to Kor'Goth

++HQ++

Daemon Prince (Dren'kath): w/ Daemonic Flight, Warp-forged Armour, DoN - 220

++Troops++

Nurglings - 45

++Heavy Support++

Okaaayyyy, that was fun! Basically, The Daemon Princes fly around and kill GEQ, MEQ, TEQ, Tanks, Artillery, Super-Heavies, Fortifications, Flyers, the whole lot. The GUO strides forth surrounded by his baby nurglings. I gave him ML 1 so he can try and summon more units of plague bearers to capture/contest objectives.

Advice encouraged, thanks in advance <3

I actually hate eldar, but for some reason I have the models

You've forgotten that daemon princes don't have any weapons, not to mention that 20 points gets you a AP2 instand death sword for nugle princes. For shame.

GUO's come with ML1 anyway, so you haven't really given him anything, and with only a single mastery level and only the d6, you're not going to be summoning anything better than a herald any time soon.

Given that DP's are generally reasonably squishy (being single models with T5 and no eternal warrior), you're going to get your face punched in, lose combat and the die to combat res. Yes, they've got a 2+ cover save, but there's lots of stuff with ignores cover and you've got stuff all models on the table at 2000 points. Your dudes are going to get focused and wiped out.

Think about how many wave serpents that ignore cover and are wounding on 2's an opponent can take in 2k. What about tau with C3 and markerlights? They can pump out a silly number of shots. What about thunderwolves/hammernators/knights/death company/dreadnoughts/wraithknights/dreadknights/[insert any unit with str 7+ AP3 or less weapons] they're wounding on 2's with you only getting a 5++ save, with things like dreads killing you instantly and you barely being able to scratch them.

I don't know how you're killing flyers other than mass vector strikes since you can't assault them, don't have any weapons even if you could and don't have any shooting (though you'd be jinking for you life even if you did have ranged weapons).

If you want to get technical on the working of the lord of [X] wording, your army is illegal as "Daemon princes from this codex with the Daemon of Nurgle upgrade are now Heavy Support choices rather than HQ", so you can't have a Daemon prince of Nurgle as your 2nd CAD HQ choice, since he's now been moved to heavy support. Note, rather, not, in addition to.

I'm not sure you've thought this through as well as you might think. Trade your 2nd HQ choice for a herald to make your army legal and spend the rest on plauge swords and some more mastery levels and/or defensive upgrades then we'll talk.

Wow, that list is awesome. You have the magical number 7 there, and DoN Princes rock! Seems like a solid list to me, lots of fun opportunities for conversion work to make 7 special star Princes.

Let me know how it goes if you try it!

Given that daemon princes are AP2 without weapons, this isn't a bad list at all. I like it. What I don't like (which isn't because of your list) is that Nurgle daemons have slow and purposeful, which sort of wastes the high intative in combat.

There's no turning back... Triumph or oblivion.

The best I have seen with daemon flying circus is the one spamming DoN prince with flight, mastery level 3, so they can summon or psychic shriek stuff to death.

They rarely ever land to charge into close combat so they fly around vector strike a unit and then psychic shriek another all the while keeping 2+ jink save. Some times they summon a unit. The summon unit does not get obj secured because they are not part of the primary detachment but they still contest at least. In 7th ed everything but lone wolves can score right?

.. not really? Most stuff worth sweeping can't be swept.

On the note of the hq/heavy support problem with the prince. The latest faq changes the rule from 'army' to detatchment. So in fact the second cad is illegal, as it needs a GUO hq.
