The Transuranic Arquebus is pretty awesome i think, love the range...it's not necessary meant to kill off tanks...just help against infantry's transports. I'm personally making a 10-man squad with 3 of them. Automatically Appended Next Post: Nicorex wrote:Someone over at BoLS blew up and pixelized the concept sketch. Just spreading it around.

It's not that strange, seeing as how the Ranger and Vanguard Alphas only have Power Swords as their power weapon option?

Symbol of office for Techpriests, not necessarily the Skitarii.

Why? Hi Tech Minis have more than likely drawn inspiration from GW's artwork. They just haven't slapped an Ad Mech symbol on it.

I mean, does a ' lol' and a now not give sufficient clues as to the intent of the post? Really?

A bit of a shame though. When I first saw the onager, unlike most people I didn't mind it, I thought it looked pretty good actually. Now, after seeing the Ironstrider, ehhhhhhh... I know we've only seen one tiny pic of it, but still, ehhhhhh...

Scoop based? not familiar with that term.
I would love to see it be open topped or an assault vehicle, at least hopefully some fire points.

I was actually imagining a firing platform mounted in the centre of the spider legs, protected by the force field, maybe with the servitor pilot wired into the centre of the platform.

Soonest would be Monday.
Looking closely at that character sketch, it looks like there's a lot of wires and cables coming from under the hood, very different from the Ranger rebreather facemask...
Also, the Transuric Aquifibus is still pretty cool for sniping character models out of squads. Taking three in a squad, yeah you might not get the 6's you need the whole game, and even if you hit, you might not wound since it's only on a 4+... but being able to move and fire, and the satisfaction of knocking out that dangerous Melta Gun or Plasma Gun before it can hurt your bigger stuff? That's where it's going to shine.
That said, I do think the Plasma Caliver and Arc Rifle will see more use, as the reliability of the wounds is much higher, and the deadliness of rapid-fire haywire weapons that also happen to be Str 6 in their own right? Really fantastic. Only the Plasma Caliver is more expensive, but for good reason.

Not to mention wiring in servitors like on the walker is something of a Mechanicus staple. Also no butt tube on the GW one.

I mostly just didn't care for it(long before somebody made the south park comment), but some people will like it so great for them.
