If that's the spider tank, it is very very disappointing. It's incredibly bland for ad mech, it looks like an imperial guard walker. Less armour, more weirdness for protection like the forgeword stuff.

The pre-order for the codex went up the week before the Death Jester and Shadowseer models, effectively making it so that anyone picking up WD or the codex on release day saw the full model range.
This will probably be the same situation, meaning this is the penultimate Skitarii week. We should see at least one more kit up for pre-order on the 12th, the same day the codex is released.

There is someone on Bolter & Chainsword who claims they've seen the price listings for the Codex and the Sicarians.
Codex and box of Sicarians are 26Euros each...
Which puts them in the same price range as the recent painting guides(33USD).

Not in a rush so not gonna bother preordering unless I know what I need to get to build my army. At this point it usually takes me about 6 months to get the time to finish painting 1 unit anyway. Might consider preordering the uber book version since they are so hard to get ahold of, but i'll just get the models at Showcase when they're out.
And then I just realized, I never even got the new rulebook :/ Did they ever put out a just the rules version? Or am I stuck buying 2 extra hardback books I don't want or need? Looked around on the site and didn't see it but I thought I read that they did have it at little while ago...

They did have it but it was parted out from their "Librarium Edition". Once they sold out, they would have been gone for good.
If you look around you should be able to find mini rulebooks parted out from starter sets.

I'm really excited for this new army, but I likely won't get anything until the actual codex is out and I can get a feel for it. I've been thinking about a few different forces to start and AdMech is really piquing my curiosity, but I don't want to make a snap decision while only having seen rules for 4 models. I did that when starting my Scions, but ended up not following through and just have a small force sitting around that I rarely do anything with other than look at every now and then.

I'm probably putting in a pretty sizable order with Frontline for the stuff I know I want period. How sizable does depend on how many rules I know before the end of their sale but it's likely still going to be decent. Here's hoping for some leaked photos for rules and such soon

Well, the product descriptions that have been leaked say:
Adeptus Mechanicus: Sicarians
This is a brand new boxed set that contains components to make up the models as either five Sicarian Infiltrators or five Sicarian Ruststalkers or a mixture of both.
And the painting preview from last week was "Sneaking around..." while the parting shot was "What lurks in the dunes?".
