They should indeed have a flyer or one like the guard that has several options. Possibly even the same one or something off of the same chassis.
Land raider.... I think it would be too bland for them as it is. True, I think they need something that has armor beyond a rhino chassis. The "church' can certainly afford it and it would be fitting.
I can see them having a big armored mobile church. maybe something based on an elongated or extra wide land raider or small baneblade type chassis (maybe a single void shield) with loads of transport capacity and lots of gaudiness with a little bit of firepower. 0-1 though to keep it from being spammed.

I use to run 16 Sisters in a LR Crusader back in 3rd and 4th, which was a blast. Sisters benefit from Land Raiders far more than Marines do, and really should with have access to the Crusader and Redeemer variants, or have their own equivalent.

I know fluff is against it but a land raider makes sense.
Its a tough assault tank and crusader patterns could be modified to reflect there favored weapons.
Maybe they can do a deal with templers?

I've always wondered why the Templars and Sisters weren't super BFFs in the fluff, maybe the BT think they have cooties. While a super unique sisters transport would be super cool, i think having access to crusaders and redeemers would be perfect for the sisters Holy Trinity of awesome sauce weapons, and it would be a great way to deploy mass squads of sisters to unleash some bolter or flamer hell on their enemies.

Fixed that for you.
Giving the Sisters a Land Raider is lazy. Let's give them bikes, termies, and land speeders, too. They don't need a vehicle with assault ramps, they need to make our existing assault units work properly with simple rules changes.

And it is IMO superior to the Razorback. Both can have the TL Heavy Bolters and Hflamers but it's when you reach TL Multimeltas that you really start talking. Ofc, it's the Outflanking Dominion Squad that makes it better.

Something to remember is that getting equipment in 40k isn't solely about money. it's also about build time. Getting a light variant of powered armour for their infantry, sure. Getting a Land Raider, a tank only made at some Forge World, and even then, in small numbers? Money isn't the problem, and never really had been in 40k. It's all about the fact that they take years to build one while constantly consecrating it in holy oils and incense and chanting prayers to the engin... machine spirit while thinking any of that is actually doing a fething thing.
Rare equipment in 40k is rare because the Imperium is dumb and doesn't know how to make it in large quantities, or at all. Not because their internal departments don't have the money to get it.

Like a Tower of Skulls but not Heretical.
That'd solve our Super Heavy issues nicely (though I kind of want it to be a new chassis instead of just rehashing the Baneblade one), but the army could still use a decent assault transport. Something that could give the punchier parts of the army at least a little love. I'm not saying it should be the Land Raider (since that's restricted to Marines), but a rolling chapel of some kind that has fanatics come pouring out of it (like a smaller version of the superheavy cathedral) would be cool. Make the big one hold something like 40-50 models and the small one hold like half and we'd have a pretty thematic pair of options.

I always figured it to be a Protestants and Catholics type thing. Or Sunni and Shia Muslims. The Yooks and the Zooks. They worship more or less the same thing, and should be able to get along real well. But the niggling details always get in the way and cause strife.
Doesn't really matter anymore though. They more or less retconned that in 6th Editon when they switched the Black Templars to essentially following the Imperial Cult and worshipping the Emprah. So technically they are best buddies now.

Besides the 6++, is there any difference between an immolator and a razorback these days? Besides the TLMM; you can take a HB or HF razor.

With assorted chapter tactics, marine razors can up to a number of shenanigans themselves. I was thinking more of a tank-to-tank comparison. Last time I looked at them, I remember them being identical, barring the name change. Upgrades of things like laud hailers notwithstanding.

The sisters might not be using the LRs as tanks, but simply conducting sanctification rituals for the forgeworlds. That take centuries. In warzones. But once they are done, they will turn the tanks over to the SM.
See? They aren’t flaunting any decrees. Just like they aren’t flaunting the men-at-arms one...
