Hey, I was thinking about something.

What's the best way of fielding Inquisition as an ally to BA?
I was originally going for a single Ordo Xenos grenade-juggler, but I'm thinking about something more.

Some ideas:

Cheap Inquisitor with nothing but ML1 to cast Presience for Devastators.

Two small Henchmen squads, 4x Acolytes with Boltguns and a single Psyker each. Dirt cheap.

Crusaders, (Ordo Xenos with Rads) and Brother Corbulo, all in a Land Raider.

My main list includes a single level two Libby.
If I include an Inquisitor and two Henchmen squads, that gives me five Warp Charges to play with, making powers more reliable.

What do you think?

Can try to make use of liber heresius. Though, he won't fit the jumppack theme. On the other hand, he can provide some extra 6' movement and than go join devastators.
Another option is bs10 vs psychers but it's situational.
Or rad/psychio nades. Don't think you need it so much with s5 on the charge but making it somewhat s6 could be nice in some situations. You'd basically punch MC to death with basic chainswords. There are formations that require VV and they're nice in a landraider. Making them s6 vs stuff with toughness would be brutal.
Coteaz for 1-st turn, psy powers and some "Surprise, mot!@#$%^ers" mechanics.

Yep, landraider + xeno + deathcults are choppy as hell. Not overly durable, however. Corb could lend a helping hand.

Scouting Devastators, because you can, that's why.

I've never fielded Coteaz before. I just haven't found a squad he fits in well.

Scouting can actually help out a bit with a plazma cannon 36' issue. However, not sure if you'd like to take this weapon in the first place.

BS10 against Psykers, how are you getting this?

Psyocculum. Ordo Hereticus gets that iirc. Alongside some other nice anti-psycher stuff.

Can also try make use of plazma-syphon.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Anywayz, inquisition can alwayz just do stuff on their own. Plazmacannon servitors for cheap, conversion beamer inquisitor. Or rolling around in razorbacks generating warpcharges and casting different stuff. Or even summon daemons - 3 wounds for relatively cheap.

That was how I used them in the last codex but with the changes to ASM I hardly bother with Land Raiders anymore.
I guess they're still worth it, not so much tough.

From another thread:

I really like the Buff-quisitor.
It's a Xenos Inquisitor with:
-Rad Grenades
-Psychotroke Grenades
-Liber Heresius
-Servo Skulls if you are using Deep Strike.

It gives so many buffs for a small amount of points that I would almost call it cheesy.
If you take Dante, the Servo Skulls basically allow you to ignore all scatter.

Inquisitor with the Psyocculum with a triple plas command squad in a razorback could make quite a nice anti pskyer squad.

Fish on divination for perfect timing for ignore cover and say good bye to any psyker on the table.

Just played a game of 2000 points... 20 points to spare.
Wat do?
Solution: 2x Acolytes w/ boltguns and a Psyker.

Gave me another Warp Charge and two victory points by holding a distant objective

I think I'm going to use the slightly bigger version of that squad for the lulz of it.
8x Acolytes with boltguns and two Psykers equals 60 points, and if I happen to lose my other psykers/have nothing else to do, I can drop down S4AP5 large blast

Is it worth it to add Jokaeros to squads of normal Acolytes or are Servitors the only useful solution?
