It seems their mentioning in modern 41st fluff is pretty much zero. Were they absorbed fully into the inquisition post restructuring of HH? Pariah gene folks still crop up in things like the Eisenhorn series, but not the SoS specifically.

Just curious, you guys always seem to know about the obscure stuff

They're sort of a separate organization within the Inquisition; they fly the Black Ships and manage psyker acquisition/testing/Sanctioning.

Has that been confirmed? I knew they used to pilot the black ships and hunt rogues/ other blanks -- but that was in the pre-inquisition time frame.

I want to convert a small detachment for my inquisition/SoB army, but need to fluff to go along with it. Just for friendly games, nothing major (since it doesnt seem they ever actually had troops)

The Sisters of Silence hasn't really been mentioned outside old old fluff and the Horus Heresy series.

Presumably they're still part of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, what few of them are left, but a lot of their duties - such as conducting witch-hunts and guarding the Black Ships - get outsourced to the Adepta Sororitas these days.

It would make sense that the sisters of silence stayed around. As the imperium still has renegades.

The Telepathica sill needs the null/pariah gene folks right? AS don't generally tolerate the witch, even if it's a nullfield generating one

I think I can swing the fluff side, now to create the rules

Ah, a common mistake. Sororitas abhor the witch. They do not abhor psykers as a general rule. Sanctioned psykers are permissible. To be watched at all times and executed if they put one metaphysical toe out of line, but permissible.

Everyone needs nulls, but the AAT get the lions' share of the recruits, except for rare cases like Eisenhorn stealing all of the Pariahs in an entire sector to build his Distaff, and the other odd pariahs that are discovered by Inquisitors who steal them for their retinues.
