There's a right way and a wrong way to disagree with someone else's post. Here's a prime example of the wrong way.

Krellnus was absolutely certain I was wrong, enough to be insulting about it, so I asked him if he wanted to wager on it. I was being dead serious when I did so, and would gladly have taken his money if he called me on it. You can think I am being cocky if you want. I respectfully disagree, and say only that I believe you're mistaking cockiness for surety.

I think he's on to something.

Or he's parroting what those places are saying or vice versa.

We simply disagreed, as he presents no evidence.

That last one really made me laugh, because either ImAGeek conveniently forgot about the above posts, or I've somehow managed to completely misunderstand them, as he seems to believe they were meant to be useful critiques rather than blatant insults.

None of those are attacks. The first one with Krellnus is him doing exactly what you're doing, as an example.

The one with me is me stating a fact, as is the one with Grimskull.

The one with Imageek was an observation.

If you want to be taken seriously, post sensibly.

If you're going to make wild, nonsensical claims, and act cockily when people disagree with you, then you should expect not to be taken seriously.

They're websites which trawl the internet for rumors and/or get rumors emailed in to them.

I made up some rumors for fun once, just to see how far they would go. I was surprised when a few weeks later they popped up on natfka and bols attributed to "reliable sources". Needless to say they didnt turn out to be true...
