The WGF Red army box can do the trick but I would love an updated take on the old RT grey guard.

I'm looking forward to Heresy's proposed plastics, meself. Though maybe they're still a bit too well armoured for what you mean.

Other than that... hmmmmnotsure. Someone to discover some cost-effective way to fashion detailed spears out of brass or some other hard metal. (As opposed to current snapping plastic, wibbly white metal, and bash-one-end-flat-and-grind-a-vague-spearhead -shape steel wire methods)

I would LOVE to see a non metalic kit come out for the Roman Auxiliary cavalry for Hail Caesare, beside that I would like to see the same for shields they sell, please Warlord! Spare me the experience of having to deal with x amount of somewhat shoddy metal shields this year. I will be buying those kits if they get redone in significant numbers.

Another dream would be to see the release of a new centurion model from same company too. No need for it, but would just like a new one that is all.

Plastic Battle Fleet Gothic Kits with each ship being five to seven inches long, at least.

But back in reality:

Larry Niven's Known Space miniatures.

Or simple Dark Ages Fantasy miniatures that are not obvious Historical figures proxied for a Fantasy Army.

And... I would like to see Epic40K miniatures produced for the newer factions (Tau, Necrons, etc...)... But that ain't likely to happen, is it?

Your wish will be granted.

I happen to be working to produce spears out of brass that I am hoping to have as a part of a Kickstarter in late spring.

The spears (and other weapons) are 28mm/30mm scale, but I could easily do them in 15mm.

They will be a bit pricey, until I can afford to have a stamp machined to create them (and the mold to cast the raw-plug that would fit the stamp).

As it is, each would be a part of a sprue of roughly 20 spears/swords/axes/etc. that would be C-C machined from a laser cut sprue plug. And they will probably cost about $25/sprue.

Like I said... Not cheap.

But you will never have to worry about a bent spear again, and the spear-heads will look phenomenal.

If you have any preferences for types of spears, swords, axes, maces, weapons, etc.... Let me know.

Edit:

Alternatively, I may find a way to produce brass spears with the heads cast on in white metal. This may prove to be a less expensive method, but either way, it is going to be a long while before they will be "cheap" compared to white metal or plastic.

I am trying to figure out a way to get them down to 50ยข each, at the present time.

I'd club a baby seal for a plastic ultramarine honour guard kit.

Or guilliman to be released.

The only other things I'd buy might be a plastic guo, a plastic lord of change or two, and 1 to 3 thirsted, depending if skarbrand can be built.

Or something big and cool for my empire force.

Or something big and cool for my Ultramarines. The new dread is tempting, but... It's pretty on par with the Sicarian I already have. Relic of the armoury, woo?

Plastic ISU 122/152 assault guns from Battlefront. They've done the cat killers in plastic, and their current heavy assault gun box is overpriced. The only other place I've found that does them is Old Glory, but the pack I got was damaged, not how the picture showed (resin/metal when the picture showed all metal), so I'd much prefer some semblance of QC from a somewhat reputable company.

I have seen the C-C Solar Marines....

I did not think them much like Niven's Known Space ARM troops at all.

And I didn't like Onslaughts stuff at all.

I was also hoping for the Known Space Stuff in 28mm/30mm, and maybe in 15mm/18mm.

But I am supplying my own need there, as I have the rough base-meshes for Puppeteer, Outlander, Kzinti (as described by Niven, and not just a big cat - they have very specific features that deviate from Terran feline anatomy), and Thrint done. I have yet to take them into Mudbox to do any detail work, due to having to work out the anatomical details of how the HELL a Puppeteer Mouth works (which led to questions about their digestive tract, which led to questions about their rear-pelvis bones, and muscles, which led to questions about their rear leg, which led to questions about their abdominal anatomy, which led to questions about their thorax... And.. OH! That's where their brain is... So now we have questions about the separation of skull-plating and rib-cage, which led back to questions about the neck anatomy, and where the extensors and flexors for their "fingers-lips" go... Which led to questions about haptic, olfactory, and optical senses and cortical processing, which FINALLY led to a finished anatomy that corresponded to Niven's given appearance).

They will be impressive... IFF I can ever get these stupid Goblins finished to move on to the Known Space work.

But as for the Onslaught Tau.... They are nice miniatures as 6mm stuff goes.... But they don't FEEL "Tau" to me...

40K buildings. Not ruins. Buildings. IG, Imperial, and ork. Particularly ork. I wouldn't complain about Eldar, DE, or Tau, but I'd love to buy some actual ork scenery/buildings.

New warbuggy kit. Please! Every ork vehicle kit has been awesome, with tons of useful bits to bodge all over the force. Please release a warbuggy.

40 background models. Imperial citizens (or heck, simply IG support staff), servitors, dangerous aliens, whatever. Just something that isn't 'here's a new unit in a box'.

I'll say it, just for the benefit of otherss. Sisters of Battle.

Having said that, it would be really easy to have Frateris Militia if you released Imperial Citizens, or really easy to do Imperial Citizens if you released Frateris Militia (gasp! Dual Kit!)

Dethkoptas. They are in the Codex, but GW doesn't sell them. Isn't that what you will not do after Chapterhouse? I probably have enough of them, but I'd still buy a box or two if they came with ANY options.

The manner which I have taken to doing mine (not my idea - think it was some Partha figures I saw done this way first...) is to use brass rods for the shaft and cast tips. The other method is to use etched brass tips silver soldered to the brass shaft. Sounds a bit intimidating - but goes a heck of a lot faster than you might think.

I'd like some decently armored, dressed, and overall more civilized Gnolls, Ratfolk and lizardfolk miniatures, preferably with
options for both male and female troops (not sure how thats gonna work TBH), commanders, heroes etc, and a variety of weapon
options. It doesn't have to be a hard plastic kit of anything, I'd be fine with good quality polyurethane resin.

Bonus points if the resin kit is multi-part with extra heads and accessory items (even if sold separately) and is capable of being
built into both individual characters for skirmish games and rank and file for mass-battle games.

I really just want something that breaks away from the evil BEASTman savages routine thats become so common since various older
mini and RPG companies established it, even if it seriously (and riskily) breaks away form the traditional interpretation of these races.
You never know it could work, at the very least it creates a bit more variety and offers more choices for everyone.

Oh and some not-Burmecian minis would be nice, if anything they have become my gold standard of what a civilized race of rat
people could look like, would love to make an army of them.

Guess I better get to making these kits eh?, I don't think anyone else is going to do it.

Got any images of buildings you would like?

If they are variations of the cube, or hexagonal box, then they might be trivially easy for me to make where. I used to work (as long as there are not an insane amount of undercuts).

If it were not for being so distracted by these stupid Goblins (and so crippled from being disabled), it would be something I would have already done.

I have the templates done for a ground plan for 6mm city-scape tiles, and my plan was to make 15mm and 28mm versions of them as well (since this can be done with the same files, and some minor editing).

But I have not been able to find any reference material for 40K styled buildings that I would not have to basically "re-build" the building from what was an image of ruins.

I am currently looking at a method that is similar to the old Ral Partha method (cast tips on a brass or steel rod).

But this produces a tip that is MUCH larger in diameter than the shaft, and the joints of most spear-heads were very much flush with the shaft of the spear (only a tiny lip, if that).

So... What I have been looking at is a method of casting a steel rod (even more rigid than brass) into a cast spear.

This would leave two or three "vents" that would need to be filled, where the supports for the steel rod exist in the mold.

I have yet to be able to test it out, but there is a model ship maker in Virginia that uses a method similar to this for their masts. So... I know it is possible.

The other method, which would be the highest quality, and the most expensive (roughly $3 - $5 a spear) is a laser cut brass sprue, with roughed out spears and weapons, and then a steel die/stamp, which would then stamp the brass into shape, producing VERY high detailed spears that were also scale appropriate (thin, yet not flexible, and don't look like 2x4's).

But.... I need to get in touch with people in Dallas, and at Reaper to see about test molds and casts being made.

Those look pretty cool, but I am interested in larger structures. Specifically, things like the older cardstock Ork buildings (of which, a watchtower was an accessory). I'd like to see stuff done in scrap, and/or the old adobe building style of ork buildings.

Of course, this is stuff I could do myself, but I could sculpt my own minis too, if I had enough time and practice. Doesn't mean I wouldn't prefer buying it.

Oh! And a Tau Super-Heavy TANK (emphasis on Tank).

One of the things that bothers me about 40K is the M113 motif.

The M113 was a Vietnam/Cold War Era APC.

It is basically what the Rhino is based upon (if the M113 had been built in 1920)..

But most of the 40K vehicles are the same vehicles, usually an APC, with a turret slapped on it, and they call it a tank.

The M113 went through a life that was sort of like that.

The army kept slapping turrets, missile and rocket launchers, recoilless rifles, Anti-tank guns, 20mm Cannons (heavy Bolters) flame throwers, and other things on top of it and calling it an "armored vehicle" of one type or another.

Most of the other race's vehicles tend to be like this too.

So it would be nice to see the Tau get an actual MBT, and not just a dressed up armored personnel carrier.

Another idea that's been on my lsit for a while, plastic Fantasy Heroes

I'm thinking of a very flexible plastic kit for making classic RPG type characters, you'd probably need on kit for man and another for women.

Following the lead of the WGF survivors they could 10 bodies + arms, say:

Heavy armored body (fighter)
Medium armored body (fighter)
Armor with talbard/robe (paladin, cleric)
Leather armor body (theif, ranger)
Cloak/leather (theif/assassin)
Furs (druid, barbarian)
Bare chest (barbarian)
Robe (cleric, mage, cultist)
Fancy clothes (bard)
???

Then a bunch of arms and seperate hands with weapons. Thrown in a good range of heads (bare, helmets, hats) and you can quickly fill out a party or a bunch of NPCs, especially if there's a selection of 'evil' heads to go with the heroic ones.

Then do a kit for wimms, then maybe elfs, and a dwarf/halfling/gnome one.

Honestly, I'd like to see anything more along the lines of the Zombie Survivor sprue. Sci-Fi ones (military and civvie), Fantasy ones (a couple for heroes, then some for enemies or NPCs), Steampunk ones, maybe even another Moderns/near future set. I'd also love to see an alien one. Broadly humanoid, but with all kinds of heads/arms/extras to make the kind of stuff you'd see in Star Wars cantina scenes.

They wouldn't even need to be the full 30-mini set. Stick 10 in a box for about $15, one sprue of specfic heads/bodies/arms/legs and then an appropriate generic weapon sprue (that can be reused from set to set), make sure it's all compatible, and surely you'd make an absolute killing!

Is it too much dead equine abuse to say SoB?

Hes glue at this stage Brother.

I'd like to see more terrain kits, Xenos ones specifically and themed sets, desert, jungle, swamp etc.
