Sorry. But predator even las pred is a sub par choice IMO. You lost the IF chapter tactics by running las sponsons and truthfully there are just better choices. I'd prefer a TFC myself.
Vindicator is a better tank for heavy lifting if you don't like the TFC.
That's just my opinion and its by no means the right way

Hey man, Garadon really isn't worth it, ide drop him and the las pred for lascannon devastators, you get tank hunters so your rerolling ure lascannon Hits vs tanks, if you want to keep the pred, use the standard HB autocannon for a cheap spearhead for all ure rhinos.

hello Mate,
thanks for the feedback i like garadon because he's fluffy and he's really just a powerfist sergent for a few more points. I reckon im going to drop the pred for TFC and dude never eveer use lascannon cents whats the point.... 6's to glance with re-rolls.... libbys in there giving them re-rolls to hit.... why would you use lascannons?

In a 40K legal army you can not use autocannons on the Fire Raptor unfortunately.
I am pretty sure about this, though i would love to be proven wrong

Imperial Armour Volume Two: Second Edition clearly lists autocannons or quad heavy bolters as options, so why wouldn't you be able to use them? They are a nice option for strafing between other enemy fliers. The Fire Raptor is an excellent unit overall.
@ deano134679
As for the lascannon Predator, I'd just swap it clean out for a Devastator Squad with lascannons (also 150 points but I advise a few more bodies for ablative wounds so each casualty doesn't cost you 30+ points). You need some anti-tank and with tank hunter they are nice.
Garradon isn't terrible, but it is a shame that the show unit switches to HQ and loses Objective Secured... if you like him then use him. If he gets an Iron Halo like a true captain he'd be amazing for the points but I don't think he does... does he? The Librarian is nice, especially with the bones.
I would maybe drop the melta bombs and heavy bolters to squeeze in a TFC as well.

You lost the When chapter tactics simply by running las sponsons and also honestly you can find just much better options.

Drop the pred and add combi;s to all the sgts. Use the remaining points to add a thunderfire cannon
Drop melta bombs if needed to fit.
I would also use the centurions as las/missile. I know gravs are really good but with sentinels the las/missile combo is much superior. Kills knights.

Looks good. You definitely want the missiles on the centurions with the lascannons to take advantage of tank hunter. I'd just swap it so the grav cents have the hurricane bolters (to make them more well rounded against low armor targets and swarms) and the lascannon cents have the missiles.

Imperial Armour Volume Two: Second Edition, War Machines of the Adeptus Astartes, page 139. Where exactly do you see autocannons as options???

I stand corrected sorry, It's been a while since I've opened the book itself It's in the FAQ on the FW website:

(not sure if that link will post fine)

Thanks for the heads up!
Didn't know it
I just put a raptor together and glued the bolters instead of magnetising just because i thought it can not take autocannons when in normal 40k games....

Yeah. honestly though, the quad heavy bolters are almost always what I take. The pressure it puts on infantry below you is great, it's almost guaranteed to hit all 6 times that way too (thanks to strafing run and twin-linked), and it's also good on FMCs, Bikes, etc... they're just really awesome. The autocannons are nice if you play against a lot of nightscythes or stormtalons, but honestly that's about it. You may get one good strafing run, but the odds of really maneuvering between other fliers like that is pretty slim...
so don't feel too bad!
