The Harlies are coming along very nicely. Are those diamonds on the bike carapace sculpted detail, or freehand?

Your Harlies look the business mate! Nice job! Can't wait to see the finished result! (Which may or may not result in the men in white coats taking you away after doing all the motley on them lol)

all done freehand. 5 or 6 layers i think. They were just the warm up for the motley i'm about to start on the 2 riders ....oh feth....what i let myself in for lol

Cheers They're coming along nicely. Fair few moments of doubt but as the ssssscheme is begining to come together am getting happier and happier. Still not sure about what to do (if anything) with those wee areas at the back of the fins.....

What about a trail of a few small white diamonds on one side as if they follow on from the ones on the canopy?

Hey..... That might work rather nicely. This is how she's looking at the mo. A few diamonds at the back following the line towards the small red ones on the coling might really bring it together. Nice!!! Cheers fella. Owe ta a pint

Hey - thx very much Pekel Took me a while to plan and figure out the scheme and how to go about it. Was well worth it though. Really loved painting this fine lady. Will defintely be doing more in this scheme soon. Prob on some of the new Eldar figs coming out. And the WS that's been sitting patiently waiting in my cabinet. lol

Well, that's the bike dine minor disaster at the end when the purity seal decided to be a fethlord and frost the metallics repairs done. Just need to finish up the riders next.

Looking good, I think the trail on the fin looks about right. The symbol you put on it as well is a nice touch. I'm guessing this will be on some sort of mini diorama base looking at it?

Hahhaa - you know it!!! I had a wee scene/diorama in mind before I even picked up a brush for this one. Only thing I'm missing is a screaming running Space Wolf :( Have to make do with a chaos cultist instead. Starting make the dio base next

Cheers gakky photo but. One or two wee things to fix thx to a purity seal malfunction~! Riders and dio up next. After this, next to paint somethig that is NOT grey!! Last 3 things I've worked on have had a lot of grey. Thinking might move on the Chosen or my Skit dragoon

Thanks ckig. I drew everything on with a clutch pencil first and then painted over.......while praying for nothing to shake or feth up!!! Hardest thing was trying to decide where to put the Masque rune

@bebop - cheers - oh yes thinning away and finally sorted a wet palette out. She's coming along nicely - wanted a lighter scheme than the usual black bikes as the base dio will be quick dark. Just need to paint up the riders and their tiny motley now - ekkk!

Must confess I ended up skipping the motley on mine... I know, I know, I should be ashamed of myself...

Motley didn't take that long at all. Maybe 30, 40 mins the lot

Not far off finished now....but looking at the jetbike, wondering about putting some paint chipping and scrapes on there......no corrosion or anything (they being Eldar n all) but some scrapes along the cowling and on the fins......thoughts?

Hmm. Normally I'd say go for it, on either normal or Dark Eldar, but I just can't see the Harlies allowing themselves to get scratched, even in battle. It would look good for sure, I'm just not sure it would fit...
