1. 'Raiden' - how original.
2. Tatsu is a class of Gigamek so translated from prodosian it reads now 'Raiden class Tatsu class Gigamek'.
3. Gigamek has a crew but here just as in Meka by Prodos you would have troubles to put even one pilot.
4. Sword with scabbard - because giant walkers are super agile.
5. Those launchers look like they will have a problem with this fancy hat.
As Mishima fan I am again dissapointed. If it would be render of Combat Warhead then it would be great but as Gigamek it is a total failure.

Hi there we are working on Warzone 2.0 currently. The plan is to release a book mid next year along with 2 players plastic starter sets and new faction Ilian!

In a post earth society, I doubt the cost of swords is really a huge deterrent to arming the common class

Fair enough. Personally I think the new Machinator squad is excellent, the Headhunters and Ashigaru are great, fluff be damned, and the Blitzers.. well, hm. Let's call that a "retro" look, shall we?

Blitzers definitely appear to be the old heroic scale. Tough to say, I'd have to see them next to the new Hussars.

I think some of the paintjobs may be making the scales feel a bit wonky.

It is not about cost but social restriction - Commoners are not allowed to have samurai weapons or armour. It is about fluff that for me is very important and Prodos has again spat on it.

The digital colouring makes them very hard to read. Would be much better with casts or even just the render if they can't afford to get professional painting done.

I'm not old enough to remember any of the old Mutant/Chronicles stuff. I probably won't have time or money for this. And I was determined not to give Prodos any of my money anyway (vote with your dollar and all that) but damn these models are tempting. And the game is obviously well supported.

Just received the starters for Cybertronic and Dark Legion, and the stuff is light years better than the Kickstarter stuff I received a while (years?) ago, which was already very high quality. You won't be disappointed.

Look at it this way, every other army uses combat knives. Mishima doesn't have a clue what those are. Their version of a knife is used for ritual suicide. The "combat knife" for them is a sword. Just for the peasent class, they don't bother to sharpen them.

Try it. No reason not too. Prodos is a great company. Warzone is one of the best games I've ever played and just keeps getting better. You'll love it if you try it.

Don't get all butt hurt over the AvP issue. They made mistakes and have been restructuring things to resolve the problems. Its only going to get better and better.

Agreed. I just got a ton of imperial stuff, and its a whole other level from my old KS stuff.

Don't get all butt hurt over the AvP issue. They made mistakes and have been restructuring things to resolve the problems. Its only going to get better and better.

I want to believe you but their handling of Space Crusade does not instill much confidence either.

I can understand your enthusiasm for WZR but I love MC fluff too much to justify nonsense changes that were absolutely not needed. Fortunately there is still Modiphius with their great MC 3rd edition rpg and upcoming Siege of the Citadel board game to feed my MC addiction. I will wait for proper WZ.

How you find the balancing of the game ? Appear to be a very good balanced game , but i whant know other opinions (i read variuos comments in fb group , and all say that all the army are over povered , but their own army is terribad weak ).

Hah! Yeah that's always the way. There are many good choices but I would suggest either:


A) If you prefer a small, tough army, buy a squad of Guardiani Oblati next. They are quite expensive, points wise, but they are tough and make great bodyguards for the Cardinal.
B) If you want a more versatile army, buy a squad of Valkyries (Rapid Deployment gives you a lot of options if you are playing missions with objectives) and a squad of Sacred Warriors. The latter aren't quite as scary as they used to be but they can make a good screening unit for your Judicator (best combined arms walker in the game, in my opinion) or they are a very temping target that will draw your opponent's attention away from the flanking Brotherhood Troopers!

Hi everybody! I am an italian player and I LOVE the support Prodos is giving to this game - miniatures and rules, in particular.

I play Mishima (but also Imperial MOW and Wolfbanes).

New miniatures are really good. Honestly I do not know how to use new Ashigar (they do not seem very useful) you but I will buy a blister for sure, they are wonderful models.

As far as balance goes, between me and my buddy who I play with, we have Capitol. Cybertronic, Mishima, Brotherhood, Imperial, and Dark Legion. No one single army has been dominate, we each have a 3 or 4 win streak, which is usually due more to dice, luck, and tactics. The latest update on army lists seems to have fixed a few problems people had.

I can tell you from fighting them, your brotherhood sacred warriors and the ninja guys are BEASTS.

I'm eagerly awaiting Siege of the CItadel as well. Can't wait to see the models. Jarek also showed a teaser of the Aliens Dropship recently, I will deffinately pick up one of those for table scenery. The APC is on the way as well.

Got a few things done myself in time for the demos I ran at Captain Con. Just updating my blog now, lots more photos there. Quick dry brush jobs on a lot of it, but I love the way they came out!

Modiphius changed a lot of things that did not need to be changed. Wrz Resurrection seems quite faithful to the original to me. But, above all, it is FUN to play. I respect you opinion, anyway, you just seems overcritic to me.

Love the blood spray coming from the chainsaw! I have to get some of the new heavy infantry. Mine are the KS version and they are so boring. The new ones look great.
