The Basement Collective - Warhammer 40k Battle Report #3 - 1500 Tyranids vs Grey Knights

Hey guys here is another batrep. This time we have 1500 Tyranids vs Grey Knights. As always if you have any suggestions or questions let me know! Thanks for watching.

I enjoyed your battle report - I like how kind you are and I quit like the lists! I like that you utilize forgeworld and formations. The duratin of the battle reports is quite enjoyable too.

Battle reports I would like to see:

1.Sisters of battle
2.experimental lists/ unusual lists and their effectiveness
3.uncheese lists - 40k brawl got into that spiral (love the guys anyway)
4. apocalypse!
5.lords of war in normal 40k!

but I t hink you can follow your instincts, just go with what you think is cool.

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately Sisters is the only army we don't have access too. We love experimental lists and LOW so expect to see some of those in the near future.

Fun battle report! Although I'm not sure the Nids really had a chance against those flyers. That said, just hearing about that Carnifex taking out 1000 points of marines made my morning. Awesome!

A question for Clark: How do you find the Spawn of Cryptus? - or is he better used as a standard Broodlord?

Love your battle reports. Some of your miss-steps are very funny (in a nice way) and add to the charm. Stick with it guys, a little practice under your belts and you'll be cranking out professional quality battle reports in no time! My son and I tried to do a video bat rep last week & abandoned the project after turn two, so I definitely respect the difficulty of the process your going through.

One suggestion: if your pee is freezing before hitting the ground, there's this neat thing we have down here in the 'States called a bathroom. I know you're in Canada and all, but you might look into it. Pretty sure the technology would work up there too.

Sorry unfortunately our igloos lack the required technology and plumbing for this so called bathroom, thanks for the suggestion though.

Hey guys, good bat rep! I enjoyed it but I think you messed up in a big way as far as rules go. I think you can only DEEPSTRIKE models starting turn 1 with the grey knights formations. This means no turn 1 alpha striking flyers :-P You might want to double check that as I don't have the rule book in front of me but I remember that being the case.

Yeah like I said in the video this was my first time using them with the new GK book. Haha should of read the rule better. I will mkae sure that doesn't happen again.
