Anecdotally I have never had a problem with Mournfang but have NEVER killed an entire crusher unit. That is why I went crusher. I find that the save of the crushers is harder to deal with than the brute power of Mournfang.

Odd. I have a much easier time taking on crushers due to frenzy. You can force crushers to go out of position. Mournfangs can choose to flee if caught in a bad spot.

Crushers all the way, point for point they are effective against way more. Survive impact hits and Ogres lose more time than not and are more susceptible to being shot off the board magically or otherwise.

so far everyone has looked at the issue in a vacuum. I think thats the issue here, you cant look at it like that. Most people look at Ogre mournfang and say, geez those are going to be hard to handle. Those same people see Skullcrushers and say well $*&# my life.

Actually, I love to see crushers with my ogres. But that again, I'm that A-hole who runs 10 to 20 units of 10 gnoblars. You're crushers will be hitting an over-running gnoblars all game. Good luck doing anything of value with all those 25 point units.

Doing similar things with Undead Legions and Spirit Hosts / Skellie horses.

They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines, and they shall know no fear.

I would say demigryphs, because they don't have frenzy. This means you're not losing out on reforms and bad positioning due to not being restrained. Also, the mounts get -3 to armor regardless of charging or not, unlike juggernauts. They are also cheaper.

In terms of which hit the hardest though, definitely skullcrushers.
