I really like the colonial transports, are they a potential future kit or just a one-off conversion?

They are "just a one-off conversion". But, if i found a lot of money, it might be potential future kit.

Also i can change one of those wip "base" of colonial transports to unpainted mantic games miniatures rebs or plague.

Raul,
Just to clarify, are you an employee of Tehnolog?

Yes, those are bauhaus riders. I want to paint them at least two years . I think those riders one of the best dino riders. In the Void 1.0 interesting dinoriders too.

I think the VOID/IKORE team had alot of folks who were involved in Warzone as well, maybe even most of them. I'm slowly building a Void 1.1 Junker army that I will proxy into Warpath, probably as Mauraders. I've acquired a few non Junker figs that fit the vibe pretty well. Some Viridian Dinos (with different crew of course) and Bauhaus riders. I've already got one of the Bauhaus done. I just shaved off his sprocket/gear emblem and gave him a new helmet. He fits in well with a matching paintjob. Unfortunately the project did stall a couple years ago when I got burned out after painting 47 Legionaires at once.

Silno.
i painted 40 mantic games corporation solders - for a year, maybe more =) you ve got a power (Like in song, in my favorite anime:
Spoiler:
Do the impossible,
See the invisible
Row! Row!
Fight the power!
Touch the untouchable
Break the unbreakable
Row! Row!
Fight the power!
)

Just to clarify, are you an employee of Tehnolog? - cheers nope =))))))
Lol in RF only 2-3 company with production loyal to wargamers. Zvezda Tehnolog and i have difficltes to remember the third company.
(Upd)
So if you want to do some conversions or terrain in good prices and materials (without delivery from other country or continent and without , sometimes toxic, china's plastic) , there is no a lot of choise. And question of (about) scales, is only doing smoller the circle of companies, where you can watch stuff to your hobby.

Ah somehow I got the idea you were with Tehnolog.

Great conversions, and I sympathize with how hard it can be to be a hobbist outside the US/UK.

I'm in India now and have to order almost everything from overseas, even paints are hard to find. As far as I can tell India has no indinginous model-making hobby. Even the best shops just carry stuff from overseas.

And forget about wargaming. The only other gamers I found are expats.

Man. How did I miss this thread?

Those models are great. I wish they had side sponsons. Does anyone have affordable options for side sponsons to add to them?

I've don't know of any. There are companies making them, but they seem to cost as much as the plastic tank kit. Your best bet is probably to see if anyone has some extras after building their own LR's.

I might have some extra Russ side sponsons from the IG army I did a few years back. PM me if you're interested and I can go digging in the boxes of bits.

Sponsons would be pretty tough. If you're shooting for a more ramshackle/rebel look adding guys and a pintle mounted heavy weapon standing on the track guards could work. Maybe some sandbags too. Finding enclosed sponsons could be difficult.

Is Technolog the same people as Bonepehota that do the robogear branded stuff? If it is and you guys have a source that isn't ebay I would LOVE to see it. I have a box of their plastic 54mm gangers and their amazing value for grunts in INQ. I want more of the gang box and some of their more soldier looking guys as well. I really love seeing what people do with these sort of kits. There's loads in threads on the conclave including a few really cool necron conversions from their robot cyborgs and skeleton kits.

On that note how are their mech style kits? Iv been looking at them on fleabay for a while now.

I love the Dickens outta everything they do. That said, my love is mostly derived from the price, the unique look they have is a close second though. I believe they're all the same company/manufacturer. The kits have a cartoonish, bubbly aesthetic and the scales are pretty inconsistent. Not a problem if they're getting chopped up or converted. They really shine as the base for Ork contraptions and (my personal favorite) the structure before lots of gooey Nurgle love.

They are all indeed made by "Tehnolog". That includes Robogear, Bone-whatever, Cyberon, Some of the terrain sets sold by Pegasus, and some others.

The 54mm guys for INQ is a briliant idea! Unfortunately all mine have been from ebay.

As for the Mech kits, I like them. They aren't all great, but I've made a few that I really like especially with a bit of conversion.
Here's a couple that I use in my 28mm mech games.

Here's a couple that I use in my 28mm mech games.

The sentinelesque walker on the far left could you do a scale shot for me with one of the 54mm tehnolog models? Preferably the 'ganger' ones if you have them. Hell just a general scale shot comparing all of them with the 54mm would be awesome. I want some stuff that can be used for a base point for 54mm big bads that the players can't just kill and/or set dressing style power lifters and stuff.

Similarly the grey tauesque thing onnthe right would be really helpful because I would like to see if that could become a battlesuit for similar reasons.

The 54mm kits just rock imo their cyborgs are an awesome source for bionics if you dismember them. Yeah the poses for allot of the 54mm models aren't great but as their plastic cab be converted and reworked easily enough.

I want to purchase some of the bigger 54mm kits they do. They do a scifi soldiers kit that appears to contain some sort of weapons platform and cheap terrain but I cant find anyone who has photos other than the box art.

If anyone knows of a store that has the full range www.twistedpinnaclegames.co.uk has some of the 54mm and darksoils.ru have their 28mm stuff but I would like to be able to actually see stuff to decide whether it will work for what I have in my head ypu know?

Thanks foe the help! And if anyone wants to see their 54mm stuff painted search the-conclave.co.uk for 'russian' insurgents there's a fair few of us who have picked up a box or two and done cool things.

Unfortunately, I don't have any of the 54mm figures. As a general estimate, you can assume that the 54mm figs will be a bit less than double the size of the pictured cadian minis.

The grey mech is a Macross model. I think it's 1/72 scale, but I can't be sure as I got it second hand.

The green mech is a gasaraki armor model. They are 1/35 scale which is aprox the same as 54mm. There are 3 versions and are oop, but can be found online for $40-$50 each It's a really nice kit.

Im assuming the humanoid mech on the right of the 1:72 mech us tehnolog then? He may work with conversion for the tau battlesuit in 54mm based on your reply. Thanks for your help! Im going to have to track down the mechs in the greyish blue as well they would probably work as a sentinel base point. If I can find the gasaraki cheap enough I can do some kitbaahing between the two.

Thanks for your help! If im wrong on the mechs mentioned please let me know.

-The green humanoid mech is Bandai Gasraki (2nd pic, third from left) It's the one that's hard to find, but totally worth it.
-The two BIG Grey Humaoid mechs are Bandai Macross
-The other two small grey mechs are Robogear/Tehnolog
-The Green mech with copper canopy glass is a conversion of a Robogear Mad Bull. I rotated the cockpit down 90 degrees and flipped it around. I replaced the cockpit canopy with canopy from a --T-Rex (it comes with two). I haven't built the Robogear T-Rex, but i've got one in the box and it looks quite good.
