So I have read a couple of threads in which people have suggested taking a wrecking ball on a battlewagon for extra hits while ramming, as a purported alternative to the deff rolla (in the wake of the nerf).
This sounds wrong to me, as I thought wrecking balls were technically shooting weapons and you couldn't shoot after a ram, therefore it was not possible.
Any input, brainboyz?

You can still shoot after a ram, but it will be snap shots.

I was not aware of that! What about passengers, incidentally? Automatically Appended Next Post: Really? That's awesome, cheers!
Not got my BRB to hand, but what about passengers firing out?

No additional effect, other than the speed chosen for the transport.

So would it automatically be cruising speed therefore snap firing, or would it depend on the distance actually travelled?
Sorry for all the questions, but this is good stuff!

Yep you can totally make wrecking ball attacks after ramming/tankshocking. I believe the wrecking ball has a roll to hit special rule. Similar to the bomb squigs.

I believe that once you declare your distance, even if you stop short it still counts as the speed you chose.
And yup, wreckin' balls are pretty hilarious, especially when you get a good couple hits in. Plus, the inappropriate jokes abound. Automatically Appended Next Post: No special rule for wrecking balls to hit. Previous edition.
