Do you think it's worthwhile to add an Assassin to a Necron army? Basically any of them except for the Eversor.
The Vindicare might be useful for picking off things like Centurions or things lurking in cover, like TFCs or Devestators. Our Ignores Cover Tomb Blades are still only AP4, after all.
The Culexus gives some much needed anti-psyker, but might be difficult to use as we don't have allied drop pods like the Imperials. Infiltrate is nice, but doesn't do much if they Gate past you or Deep Strike in later. Outflank might be a decent option, but still unreliable and can be useless on Dawn of War. If we could put him in a Night Scythe...
The Callidus gives some crazy good alpha strike that none of our units can particularly mimic (uber-Infiltrate and backline Outflank), plus brings some extra support for Seizing the Initiative and screwing with Reserves.
All of them are a bit expensive points wise, but popping in a single CtA model into our army (especially when they can Infiltrate) is pretty easy. Do you have experience with them? How have you seen them work out?

Culexus is the only choice I would consider. Necrons can't handle a draigo/centstar and culexus offers a great counter. Too bad none of the assassins help with the FMC weakness or can deal with Adlance.

The Vindicare can help with the FMC problem if you add him to a Fortification with a Skyfire gun, and he uses his stupid BS, and uses his Ignores Cover on it to prevent Jinking. He can even use the Interceptor if it has it and then fire his own weapon the next turn.

Why not stick Tomb Blades on that Fortification Skyfire gun? They're gonna have ignore cover with scopes, so any flier shot at won't be able to jink. If they're firing a Quad Gun, it's Twinlinked, so BS4 shouldn't be too much of an issue (though if you really want to make sure, a Stalker standing behind it would help there).

Unfortunately, the tomb blade's only give it to their guns, The vindicare gives it to all shots made by him, regardless of weapon, and the quad-gun may be fired "instead" of one of the squads guns, not as one.
As for the Culexus, i've used it against the centstar recently, and would not reccomend it, Normally i'd be one to sing praises of it, but the lack of a delivery system is a huge hurdle. Since it is come the apocalypse, if your necrons can see it, it must be placed min 18" away from any enemy. If the enemy has any target priority, speaking from experience, it won't see turn 2, between dreadknight shunts, and GOI popping up behind it with bolters.
If you get first turn, you might cripple a psychic phase, but i found it to unreliable to be worth 140 points.
Worth noting however, if they're not used to it, it can ruin their entire strategy, if they depend too much on psychic powers.

Lol, try telling that to everyone who's been using this combo since the codex came out.
The Tomb Blade on the Quad Gun counts it as his weapon while he's firing it.

I'd rather not de-rail this thread, there's another thread to discuss it if you want. The core point is that nowhere does it say the quad gun is their weapon, it literally says the opposite. "a model in base contact my fire it Instead of their ranged weapon"
This literally means that the quad-gun is not their weapon. Unless you can point to a rule/quote that says the quad gun is their weapon, and that overrides the quoted rule, RAW is clear. Instead, means that it is not their gun, so they cant give it ignores cover.
The discussion thread is here, if you want to discuss it.
