thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. I put a tonn of work into these guys and once I paint up the other 5 marines i got 6 nurgle bikers to convert a sorcer on a bike and a nurgle lord on a bike. as for the sorcerer on a bike I plan on converting the bike into a jet bike so keep posted guys. I should have some more good content on the way in the near future.

WOW its been a while hasnt it! I got a gak tonn of stuff to be painted still but decided I would start working on my most latest idea... SORC LORD ON A (JET)BIKE! I have been tinkering here and there and so far this is what I have come up with.

been busy like always and I know I sound like a broken record but when it comes to nice weather its just way to hard to not go out and enjoy every moment of it. Now, with that being said I have a game plan. So here it is, my last winter I barely got any painting done due to priming in the cold winter so i thought why not build and prime as many models as I can that way when winter comes and I get into hibernation mode I have a gak ton of painting to do.... NAILED IT!

So as of next week I will be on vacation in the Dominican republic and i thought I would get some work done on my latest project. I pretty much kit bashed a chaos space marine biker with some left over dark eldar parts from my hellions and wychs. Got some more detail and GS to add to really make HER (thats right its a girl) look like a sorc lord on a jet bike and not just a csm on a jet bike if yah know what i mean!

SUP DAKKA!!!!

Long time so talk! I thought I would do a little update on whats currently in the works. Sadly I have not got any painting done but I have been working on yet again more conversion work using green stuff and kit bashing. Wanted to make some nurgle spawn so I kit bashed a start collecting box of flesh eater courts, a box of spawn and some left over bits i had laying around. I have had a tonn of insparation from the internet and I thought i would post some pics of my latest work hope you guys enjoy.

spawn 1 - super happy with how this guy turned out



spawn 2 - probably my favorite, did a lot of freaky gak to him and I cant wait to paint him up!!



spawn 3 - I just can decide on what to do with his head and I have a few more things to do before he is done



spawn 4 - This guy was the first creation of the bunch



spawn 5 - needs some more green stuff work. I used arms from the ghouls to fill in all the sockets from the spawn body.

Sup DAKKKA!!!!!

After slowly picking away at my second group of plauge marines I've finally decided that I'm due for a post! They still need work but I have managed to get most of the work done. Its been a slow couple months on the bench and other than these guys and the new spawn conversions I haven't really been able to get much more work done. Besides the point I'm super happy to get some paint on these guys, Post a some new material and hopefully this weekend I can get them 100 percent done. Not only do I have a tonn of new projects I would like to start/finish But ive also managed to pick up a crap load of DARK ELDAR stuff for dirt cheap and Im curently running a paint scheme though my head. I have a couple ideas and I would like to paint up and couple in 3-4 schemes post a few pics and get some feed back from you guys.

Any whooo, here they are!











I think I might have some extra time in the next month or 2 to really get some work done on the bench and I'm wondering what you guys would like to see my tackle next:


1) Maulerfeind
2) start converting my Nurgle bikers
3) paint my converted Sorcerer on a jet bike
4) paint my converted spawn
5) work on new DARK ELDAR paint scheme

Awesome stuff man. 2 questions. How do you do your rust. And how do you make the smoke stacks? That jetbike is so full of awesome.

Hey defwolf thanks for stopping by, much appreciated. Both questions you have asked are super easy to do.

The rust affect was done by using a base coat of lead belcher, wash of null oil , typhus corrosion painted on in random areas, followed by a random wash of Serena sepia for areas you want to look even more nasty and finally a dry brush using Ryza rust (citidel dry brush paint) but don't use to much slowly build it up or it would just ruin the effect completely.

As for the vents I used plastic tubes, the stem of the vent is just a solid core tube. I then used a larger hollow core tube so the stem would fit inside the hollow tube. Before gulling together I drilled a bunch of holes into the hollow tube using my pin vice and then cut it up onto desired lengths, This was super easy to do! I can't remember the company I used to buy the tubes from but if you would like exact details on brand and sizes I could try and look them up for you. I hope this helps and if you have any further questions let me know.
