For all the fans of Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon we are very excited to announce that several expansions focused on the Space Marines Chapters involved in the Second War for Armageddon are coming in 2015!

Starting this Thursday with the release of Vulkan’s Wrath, a DLC that gives pride of place to the Salamanders - heroic warriors who fearlessly conduct suicidal missions to protect Humanity. Through a brand new campaign featuring 10 challenging scenarios, the players will have the chance to re-live the Vulkan’s Disciples contribution to the bloody war against the Orks!

In order to introduce you to the main features of this DLC we'll stream the game Wednesday at 8 pm CET/ 2pm EST on our official Twitch Channel:

Any way you could keep everything that's related to your game in one thread? I allways stumble in when I read 40k Armageddon in the hopes of an interesting ork supplement for the tabletop but all I ever see is "Tank Battle 1943" with 40k skins.

I saw a Dreadnought with Flamestorm cannon in one of those preview shots, this makes me very happy.

Along with the DLC we have updated the game to Version 1.06! We have fixed a few crashes and fixed wrong allocations on some difficult levels. There are others changes we made and you can check them here.

That was constructive. It's an expansion campaign to a game about Armageddon. Marines, and certain chapters like the Blood Angels in particular, were notable participants in those conflicts. You can play pure Steel Legion in the original campaign if you want.


Lord Zimoa - really like this expansion so far, the Urban environments are a great point of difference. Played the first three missions last night and they've been more manageable than Vulkan's Wrath (which is fething difficult as soon as you get off easy mode!); still tough, but actually achievable without having your army decimated.

Cool stuff, I enjoyed the original game, I'll check it out.

gotta say my one beef with the game thus far is the lack of ultramarines attention

They'll probably be the next expansion as with Sallies and BAngels we've now had 2 out of the 3 chapters from the main game.

And then they can do an Ork expansion.

Or go nuts and do a Khorne/Wolves/Grey Knight expansion.

Ultramarines are coming next and Orks are coming later, as they will get some extra nursing... ;-)

Than we still have the First and Third Wars on Armageddon to play with...

On a side note the latest patch also updates the Vulkan`s Wrath expansion, so that one should be less difficult to play through.

haven't had a chance to play through the new content yet, but are some of the various units like Macharius tanks fixed yet? Loved seeing those int he game, but they seemed largely impotent.

Looking forward to First and Third wars, I'll pick those up for sure

first war'll be pretty epic. it doesn';t get as much attention as the first 2 wars so I hope they do it before the 3rd war

So I just finished Vulkan's Wrath, that was brutally hard, Angels of Death is feeling a whole lot easier by comparison. Looking forward to more.

Enjoying this so far. Up to the 5th mission. Huge sigh of relief in mission 3 when my Blood Angel reinforcements arrived, was looking a little tricky before that.

Thraka has been defeated and the Adeptus Astartes have left the surface of Armageddon to bring support to other endangered worlds. Though the Imperial forces were victorious in the Second War for Armageddon, the planet is still a hotbed of activity and conflict. Some Greenskins have infested the Equatorial Jungle and threaten the fragile peace. The time has come to eradicate the threat, once and for all!


Without any Space Marine forces available, this will be a battle of Astra Militarum units only. An elite section specializing in jungle warfare is assembled.
