I was simply wondering if it is possible to repair mek guns using a mek?
Thanks!

This is clearly answered in the description of Mek's Tools compared to a Mek Gun's profile and unit type.

"To repair a vehicle, roll a D6. If the result is 5 or more, you may either restore a Hull Point lost earlier in the battle or repair a Weapon Destroyed result or an Immobilised result instead; this is effective immidiately."
So, yes, you can repair a Weapon Destroyed weapon.

So, yes, you can repair a Weapon Destroyed weapon.
But Mek gunz are not a vehicle... they are artillery. The answer would be no since they have wounds not hull points

No, you can't repair artillery.
Instead, why not add a Painboy and add another save to prevent the artillery unit from taking wounds altogether?

Well, no, you can't fix Mek Guns because they have wounds, but he's also asking about Mek's Tools, which I gave him an answer for.

Artillery can never suffer a Weapon Destroyed result... so Mek's Tools has no impact. Mek's Tools only works on Vehicles.
