Wow, they're out of stock again? They had some on the GW web store last week and I picked up two boxes. I'd suggest checking in there every few days. It seems like buying them elsewhere isn't a good option at the moment.

Tomb Blades look really weird though. Like the Necron version of a moped...

All I can think of when I see them is the gyroscope vehicle from south park. I mean come on, look at the similarities.

And this obviously ruined the whole idea of tomb blades for me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees them like this.

I completely agree, the model is beyond ugly. It doesn't look fast or zippy and that's how it should look like. I've converted mine into something I think looks more speedy looking.

Here it is without any bits attached (the weapons, sensors, and the chair bit representing shieldvanes are all magnetized):

Here are all the bits:

And here's how it looks like with the bits on:

he theme of my army is that vehicles are driven by mutilated Necrons permanently fused in the vehicles, with arms and legs removed. Why would they need them? I don't like that his arm sockets are empty, I might fill them up with green stuff. But I think this version of the model would look far better even with a full arms-and-legs Necron riding it.
