Hope i chose the right forum for this.

Ok, I'm working hard on fluff for my Marines and I love all the types of tanks out there. As such I've been reading the Codex and IA:2 a lot when deciding the composition of my armory, and I've checked the lexicanium (hope i spelt that right) and the wiki and it left me wondering. Do all the Marine tanks have names, ie;
Predators - Destructor, Annihilator, Executioner, Infernus
Land Raider - Crusader, Redeemer, Achilles, Helios, Ares, Terminus Ultra, Proteus, Prometheus

Even the Razorback has the Infernus, but do the las-back, bolter-back or las/plas-back have names too? or the Stormtalons or Stromravens variants?

I don't know what level of modification is required to justify a new name. I think Las/Plas Razorbacks are just called "Razorbacks with a combined Lascannon and Plasma Gun turret".

Thought for the day: Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

The Las/Plas is the Mk1 or 'Stronos' according to the 5th edition Codex.

Different Turrets is what marks the Preds out though.

Stronos, cool. I'll have a look for my old 5th Ed codex for that thanks.

Well the question is if the gun combination is defined by the pattern name, or the specific "dude in open turret with las/plas" style.
i'm sure the other razorbacks also have pattern names, they where just not named yet...
